I sometimes wonder how they are doing and found a Christmas pic of them.

Interesting! They all look so different - I would not have guessed they were from the same family or even in the same grade in school. Having their own individuality will likely be a benefit for them as they grow. It must be challenging at times to look just like multiple siblings - where people can't keep you straight and you are left feeling like they don't really know you at all. Each one of these children is uniquely individual in looks, just as I am sure they are in personality. I am happy for them. I wish them all happy lives.

These children have unique challenges growing up in this family. I hope they have stability and a loving home. Perhaps the fact that the siblings have each other to support one another will be helpful in overcoming any of the obvious difficulties.

I just read some current information regarding this family. Apparently, she has turned her life around and obtained a bachelor's degree and working as a counselor. She appears to be a loving supportive mom dedicated to her family. (She is raising them as vegans.) The children seem happy and healthy.

I wonder what she's doing for money? Raising 14 kids as a single mom is extremely difficult and a drain on one's finances.

Like most children from huge families with lots of kids...I am sure it is very difficult and they grow up with issues....especially these kids from births with so many twins.... and then being on reality TV....SPELLS DISASTER.

I can't imagine that they all are eating well each and every day. One would have to be a millionaire to feed and clothe 14 kids and I was unaware stripping paid that well. Maybe she made good investments. They look cold, thin and small for their age.

@ann1989. Suleman is a "raw vegan" and the children are being raised vegan.

They do not look cold or unreasonably thin to me. I can't comment on whether they look small for their age. Photos, particularly of a large group, can be deceptive when it comes to size which is one reason forensic photographs often include a ruler.

What makes you think that they look "cold"?

I don't see them shivering, or rubbing their arms for warmth, or anything like that.

You do realize that not every area of the country is freezing cold, right?

It could have been a nice warm day when the picture was taken.

It could have been a nice warm day when the picture was taken.

They are wearing Santa hats so I assume the picture was taken in Dec. In So Ca when the temps get in the 60's or lower, that is chilly. Their body language to me looks like they're cold with the exception of the two children wearing long sleeved shirts.

These kids have little or no adipose. If they were stock children that would be a little different.

Who knew?

Maybe 60 degrees is cold to you, but that isn't cold to everyone.

And, maybe you weren't aware of this, but even people in warm climes wear Santa hats in December.

I read that each child has a biblical first name and mom, Natalie Suleman, gave all of them the middle name Angel.

"The octuplets are small for their age," Natalie admits.

That is of course no surprise. They're the first octoplets in history to even all be born and survive. Natalie says. "They’re polite, they cook, they’re vegan."

They help one another and their mom around the house by quizzing each other on homework, practicing their instruments and doing chores like cooking, laundry, and dishes.

Natalie and the children have a small home outside Los Angeles. She left behind stripping, porn and drugs, and has a degree in child development and works as a counselor. She has said money is tight but they make it work.

The children look fine and healthy to me. They likely will always be a bit small for their ages...but the same will be true for my twin granddaughters. When you start out your life so tiny....it's likely you'll always look smaller than others your age. I was a small child, too, although not from a multiple birth.
