Amazon Deliveries

Up until today I was very happy with their delivery couriers, well today I got notification that my delivery was made, it was made but not my building. The photo shows a blue rug and we have a beige one. It is in one of the buildings here just not mine

I spent at least 20 minutes on the phone with Amazon, I live in a townhouse development and all building have numbers but look similar.

Best is she kept saying that the delivery was made to **96 and I live at **97, thing is there is no **96 and there is a park no buildings across the street.

I would call Amazon back & ask to speak w/a supervisor. Ask them if they can contact the driver to retrieve the package. Or if they would credit your account.

Mistakes happen. I don't think the issue is where they delivered the package. They didn't deliver to your address and the picture shows that. Did you ask them to refund you or replace the items and re-send them? The few times that I have had problems with Amazon, they have bent over backwards to fix the situation, which in my case meant re-sending the items. How is Amazon going to fix this? Did you ask them that?

I feel your pain. I have had just about every delivery snafu this season that I could have. As for Amazon, around here they have " local delivery" for the last 50 miles of the trip. I also live in a community of townhouses. Most deliveries for me are in the dark ( 8:00 - 9:00 p.m.), from vans, and either to the wrong building or just left on the sidewalk off the parking lot near my building. It has been a bit of a hot mess. Of course, the big A still has done better than the Q, which today changed Edds while I was looking at my account. How we are to keep deliveries from being stolen is beyond me these days. I wish you luck. I also wish you a happy holiday. I think this delivery nightmare is beyond our control.

Here USPS delivers packages from Amazon so I would call USPS & have them get in touch with the driver so they can go back to pick it up & deliver it to you.
If you know who the carrier was call them. It's easier for them to go back the same day than try to remember at a later day where they delivered it.

@I am still oxox I am sorry that happened...very frustrating. Hopefully, they can get your item to you quickly.

Amazon is getting slammed and I think they are having a tough time keeping up. Please be careful with holiday orders as I placed an order yesterday (Prime membership) and they gave me a delivery date of 12/16.

I would hate for anyone to order thinking it will get there in a timely manner for the holidays and not receive it.

That's not a bad track record if this is the first time you've had an issue considering how often you use them. They will make it right.

Thank you both this is not USPS it is an Amazon delivery, they claim they have no way to contract the driver. They can only see a log of where he "dropped" the paakages

I'm sorry that happened to you.

I have to say, Amazon has been kicking butt on my deliveries this holiday season. Most things are arriving a day early, delivered by a delivery company, not UPS or post office. I've been very impressed.

I would love to see an Amazon warehouse in action. How they can find an individual random item and get it in the mail is beyond me!

I'm lucky. No delivery problems with either QVC or Amazon. A 12/7 QVC order shipped today (12/10).

Of course, I know better than to order anything from QVC that I need by a specific date.

ETA: I must have read the ship date wrong. I received the QVC order today (12/10) - only a few days after placing it.

My hubby went to check the next building and one of my packages was there and the second was left in the lobby by someone else

Up until a couple hours ago I would have been complaining too. I was expecting an order of seven items and it was two days later than expected. About 1:00 this morning I looked at my orders and saw that I was getting a refund for my return. I called Amazon at 1:00'a.m. to see what happened since I did not return anything; I never received it. Anyway, by 7:00 p.m. the seven items were at my door.
