My Family Has Suffered Another Loss

I just found out that my cousin (all of my first cousins are older than me) passed away yesterday.

Her name was Alice, and she was 66.

She had been in poor health for a very long time.

She lost her own daughter about 25 years ago. Her daughter was attending a church service, when she collapsed and died suddenly.

She is with my dad now, whom she always looked up to.

And she has been reunited with her daughter.

My family keeps getting smaller and smaller.

May you take comfort in knowing she is with her daughter and your father on the other side and is no longer suffering.

Such sad news.I hope that you will find a way to remember all of your lost loved ones without overwhelming sadness this Christmas.You have had a very rough year and I will pray that next year will bring less sorrow.

I'm very sorry for your recent loss, Anonymous. Please accept my sincere condolences.

In October, a first cousin's son died after being ill only eight weeks. He was only 58 years old, which is young these days.
