Request Help Unsuscribing Unwanted Emails

I am being bombarded with unwanted emails as of last two months. As I delete I often notice two or three places to unsubscribe. Is there a trick which one real or spam?

I agree that the Q's emails have been too frequent. If they are offering 6 easy pays, fine send an email.....but I don't need an email saying the same thing every two hours. I am getting to the point where I will be blocking all of their emails.

I thought there was somewhere in your preferences with QVC that you could unsubscribe from emails. I rarely get email from QVC...only when I place an order, or the order is shipping and occasionally special events.

Log in to 'My Account', under 'Settings' choose 'Mobile & Email Preferences' and uncheck the emails you do NOT want to receive (or choose 'All'), then click on 'Reset'.

The same thing happened to me last year (not QVC emails). I kept unsubscribing and I'd get even more from all these crazy companies or whatever they are. I stopped opening them and eventually the majority of them stopped and now the few I get go to spam. Try not doing anything but delete them.

One of the worst is LL Bean. They'll be all over your inbox several times a day if you don't unsubscribe.

@I am still oxoxThat was in my mind, too. I'm unsubscribing from every retail outlet where I haven't made a purchase for over a year. So far, Bells, Hanes, Saks, and Nordstrom have bit the dust.

@Twins MomI have been using the unsubcribe link closest to the bottom of a page I know is a legitimate advert. Seems to be working.

I delete, delete, delete without reading any of them.

If any of them are your account needs to be updated, if they are legit I won't be able to sign into the account until I update the info. I don't bother to open or read those either

I've also stopped playing any of those stupid quizzes you find on Facebook and Pinterest.

I get all sorts of unwanted emails. I delete them without reading them.

For a while I was bombarded with fake AOL spam saying my account would be suspended - per my request! This went on for months. Because there was never a response, they finally stopped.

Someone has decided I am a man. You can imagine the types of emails that generates.

@Twins Mom DO NOT CLICK on any links within these emails, even those labeled unsubscribe. You could end up with a computer virus or ransomware, etc. Simply delete them, unopened if you have preview feature.

It really helps to have several emails accounts. People you never want to hear from, people you may want to hear from, business emails, and family. Then only access the ones you need to.

@Carol Diane When you unsubscribe an email the company sells your email to others so you get more emails instead of fewer. It's better to just send them to spam and then regularly clear your spam.

I’m having a problem with this too. Not WVC emails but many others. A big offender for me, Childrens Place. I must got 10 emails a day from them. I tried unsubscribing but that didn’t help. I never open them , just delete. That didn’t help. My husband told me that if I unsubscribed & still receive them them, it’s against the law. I don’t know who you’d have to call or complain to. I can imagine calling the company directly would be a hassle & not resolve anything. But I’m considering something because the amount I get is getting worse. Even after unsubscribing.

I've had luck unsubscribing. I do it, though, with websites I recognize, not with anything that I consider spam.

You know how many websites send you a promo code for signing up for e-mails? I've discovered that with some, you can unsubscribe and the sign up again and get another promo code.

@Twins Mom I definitely wouldn't click on the unsubscribe link in an email from a dating site or any other website that wasn't a legitimate website that I knew what it was. Just send them to your Junk mail.

I've noticed this year I'm getting a lot of followup emails from places I do get emails from. Meaning, for example, Target; if I look at something on the website, shortly after I'll get an email saying we noticed you noticing something, take another look! I'm getting them from all the retailers I shop with, and do not remember in past years all this followup just by looking at something.
