topic Crocheting for Charity in Community Chat

I have begun making baby afghans for my church nursery (crocheted) and also mission trips. Seeking a way to cut down on yarn costs, possibly buying lots. Does anyone have info on purchasing low cost yarn for this purpose? I'm aware Q does not carry it. Grateful for any suggestions offered. <img id="smileyhappy" class="emoticon emoticon-smileyhappy" src="https://community.qvc.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.png" alt="Smiley Happy" title="Smiley Happy" />
