I got one today. Was surprised as I never even knew they send catalogs by mail. Is this a new service?

A very nice quality with paper stock and photos. They have name brands and Amazon Essentials (never knew Amazon had their own clothing line) but no prices.

I got an amazon catalog for toys which I never buy. It also did not give any prices I guess they want you to go online or ask Alexa. It did have a nice page of holiday stickers.

That's news to me - hope the catalog has been pictures than their website. On line clothing looks distressed - rejected - like a dumping ground for retail stores.

i suspect that the reason that there are no prices is because it is very common for amazon to change prices every few hours or so, on a lot of products. some may call this supply and demand. i call it something else.

way back when, when i first read about their price changing, i decided to see. i looked at several products, wrote down the prices, went back maybe 10 hours later and low and behold, most of the prices had gone up. went back a few days later and some were even higher.

some other catalogs print prices based on zip code.

sadly, there is always something that you have to look out for.

I remember getting the Neiman Marcus xmas catalogue. Now that was a catalogue. I don't know if they still do those or not.

Kind of scary isn't it? The thought there isn't much amazon doesn't sell. I have bought name brand clothes on amazon I couldnt get through my regular means. I get my Neon Buddha clothes, pj salvage pajamas, le mystere bras, and hanky panky retro vikini. None are sale priced. But they ate free shipping and they come in 2 days. I try to buy through my favorite vendors because I am scared they will gone soon because amazon has run everyone out of business.

i think if stores could offer the 2 dayshipping, the money back guarantee, and refunds d one so quickly they might have more sales. Just thinkin

I did not get a catalogue but would like one. I've been buying the Amazon Essentials "basics" for several months. Long sleeve and short sleeve tees (tons of colors), a few t-shirt dresses for vacation, also bought a pair of linen pants in the summer. Really good prices.

I haven't gotten one but maybe I will soon. We buy all sorts of items from Amazon and get deliveries almost everyday. From household items to books, appliances and vitamins, etc.

Just recently I decided to try their brand of clothing. I ordered a pajama top. It's a basic long sleeve round neck top in a solid color. I love the fit & material so I went back for a few more...the best part was the cost!!...only $15.00 each and that included Prime delivery! So far I've washed them 2x and they have been holding up well...I might try some of their other garments.

Last year I wanted to purchase a certain toaster oven for a gift. I looked it up on Amazon and it was $50.00 less than most other places online. I didn't order it right away and put it on my wish list. Went back a few days later with the intention of buying and the price had gone up $50.00! I was so annoyed that I called Amazon's customer service to see if I could the the lower price. They said no.

So I decided to wait....I checked the price regularly and within a week or so it went back down $50.00 and grabbed one then! I hate the pricing games that they are always playing.

We recieved a toy catalog yesterday. Has some good suggestions. I have purchased a few clothing items from Amazon, mostly toys so that is why I think I recieved the toy one. I miss the Sears catalog from years past. With 6 kids in the family, that was the most marked, dog eared, read catalog in the house each year!

The Wall Street Journal (among others) ran an article two weeks ago that states that Amazon uses factories that other retailers blacklist as having conditions that are unsafe for workers.

If you are concerned about human rights violations, that may be something to look into.

I just skimmed the article, so I can't elaborate, but it is readily available online.
