What a difference a day makes.

Yesterday wasn't bad temperature wise here in NE PA. Today, well it is flippen cold. I say that as a statement not a complaint. I still remember roasting this summer and wanting it cooler. I have no room to ---- now. Added heavy socks and a warm robe.

It rained in sheets last night and we lost a decent size branch off one of the trees due to wild wind. Luckily my car is at DS's being fixed as I usually park near that tree.

To get in the 30's this weekend so tonight we have to set up outside cats warmer digs.

If you are in an area to get the cold temps, stay warm.

RLS - maybe that is why your wires were disconnected on your car. You were supposed to have it moved so it wasn't damaged by the tree. Perhaps it wasn't mischef or the cats, but a higher power at work.

@CrazyKittyLvr2. Welcome to the club. We, here in the sunny Southwest, have had temps as low as 18° recently. It was 22° at my house last night. No rain or snow though except in the mountains. One of our ski areas opened yesterday. Sunny and warmer skies ahead.

Same story here in southern WV. At noon yesterday our high was 71. A strong storm blew thru at 4:00, knocked out our power for an hour, and by 7 p.m., our temp was down to 34 degrees. We started out at 30 this morning, and are up to 37 now.

Our weather here in the pacific northwest has been in the 50's with lows in the 30's and 40's recently, and no RAIN for the past few days. Most people are out enjoying the sunshine, myself incuded, during my morning walk, because our respite from rain will be returning by the end of next week. We have had several major storms recently, so I am loving this. Stay warm as you can.😊

It got cold here too. We had some snow flurries yesterday. It's 59° & sunny right now. Suppose to have temps around the 60's next 6 days before another cold front moves in.

I sure like being able to tell Alexa to turn up the heater before I crawl out of bed. Had the heater on 63° but it was 64° in the house so it did not come on. I had to tell Alexa to set it to 66°.

Our next door neighbor has 3 dogs but does not have 3 proper dog houses for them in the heat or cold. One of the dog houses is half a dog house so no way to keep warm in that. Another dog house is a metal trash barrel so I'm sure that would be too hot in the summer plus too cold in the winter. The other dog house looks just ok from what we can see. We have reported them but nothing ever seems to change.

It's beautiful, very sunny, but cold. The wind is still pretty strong. I will take a sunny day, cold or not, over a dreary overcast one.

I have to see the sun, at least every couple of days, or I get twitchy for lack of a better term.

I could never do that months of darkness. I would go crazy.

On Monday it was beautiful here in Michigan - went downhill after that. Yesterday was cold, raining, windy and yes Snow. Today beautiful sunny day.

While I'm not a fan of winter but I can bundle up against the cold and wind. I hate that 4 letter word..... SNOW. Although I hate the heating bills too.

The first one is pretty if I don't have to leave the house. After that, nope, hate it.

I can't shovel it anymore, I hate walking in it, driving in it etc. Will have to wait for DS to get off work to plow me out when storms hit.. Any appointments will be cancelled if it's a measureable snow. I don't need to fall and break something or slide into someone else on the road.

FINALLY!!!! a stretch of fall weather.

LOVING this turnaround and even added an extra 1/4 mile to my walk this morning.

it was brisk, sunny, and beautiful......i feel invigorated!

I have spent this past, dreary week finally changing over my closets. Out with summer, back to fall/ winter. Not a fan of cold weather clothes. I get tired of wearing them for 6 months even though I have more than enough to choose from.

Its been in the 30's/40's for the high....by next Tuesday its going up to 78....and then another cool front....In Texas its like a roller coaster....as Bette Davis said....

I'm in SPOKANE. Gorgeous day here today. I've heard that we're supposed to have a warmer than usual Winter, here in the PNW. But, I also understand, in SPOKANE, we just had the coldest October, on record.
I guess, we will find out 👩🏻

It was colder here in Texas the other day than where some cousins live in upstate NY.....

We get what we call "Blue Northers" from Canada..... We do get freezes...We have our moments but it doesnt last long....January we do get ice storms.....

I'm strictly and NFL fan and NBA fan of my Spurs BUT I dont like baseball AT ALL---And I dont live in "H Town".....
