@SilleeMee. Ate you snowed in? We're hearing Colorado really got slammed with snow, and now it's (the cold) is headed our way. Doubt we'll see any snow at our elevation. but it's supposed to be 19° tomorrow night. It's already frigid in the NE part of our state and is headed South.

Here we are in what is usually a quiet time of year and we've got blizzards in the Rocky Mt. States and fires raging in California.

Anchorage, Alaska was 54 degrees yesterday. 20 degrees above normal. And we want our snow.

@traveler. That's kind of scary for Alaska to be so warm. The snow is all in Colorado.

We're expecting a rain/snow mix this Friday and Saturday. Not totally unheard of in SE Michigan but still kinda early for it.

Yes. It's very cold, 8' and chill factor is -10 right now. Spitting snow now but yesterday we got dumped on...about 6 inches of the white fluffy stuff and it's not melted at all because it's too cold. All schools were closed and some highways were shut down. It only got up to 15' today and tomorrow is not going to be much warmer than that....but no more snow. I'm actually enjoying this snow. Everything is covered in white...cold but beautiful. @Kachina624

We're supposed to get that weather tonight and tomorrow, I think. I'm just west of you, in Wisconsin.

I'm in and will stay in just had cataract surgery on one eye so I don't care what it does. LOL

after that stupid snow last thurs in Amarillo, Tx today chance of freezing rain and sleet. Husband already got out and doing stuff before it hits if it hits.

they always do a forecast that scares you then nothing comes of it.

It's -8 degrees outside right now with the wind chill. Later I've got to shovel snow, light and fluffy TG. But it's going to be so cold...only about 10 degrees. I'm gonna layer TWO PAIRS of my double-plush velour Cuddl Duds leggings before I go out there later. Never did that before! Those CD leggings are really stretchy so that should be easy enough to do.

Boy isnt that the truth....these weatherforecasters predict gloom and doom and nothing materializes....with all the new technology the forecasts seem to be LESS and LESS accurate.....

@Spurt @SharkE I've noticed here that the more technology these weather people use, the more inaccurate the forecast. My weather folks are visibly disappointed when their predicated catastrophic weather event doesn't come to pass. You'd think they'd be grateful, smh.

I think meteorologists are egotistical....they seem to take it as a personal attack when their 'predictions' don't happen...lol!

@Spurt. @SharkE. The person who gets me is that stupid Al Roker (can't stand) who has taken to dramatically saying things like, "It's raining in Alabama; 27 million people could be affected". Give me a break!

OMG!!!! Al Roker.....

One time this one meteorologist that has an ego as big as Texas predicted a HUGE rainstorm which never materalized and they had already sent a camera crew out for the early evening broadcast to an area that normally gets flooded when there's heavy rains.. Despite NO RAIN, the station decided to stick with the on-site reporting....The sun was shining and you could even see kids riding their bikes in the background from where they were broadcasting....so as the idiot gave his weather forecast still putting a 10% chance of rain the forecast...he just wouldnt give up the hope of rain (which never came) and while he was talking the cameraman focused on a small puddle from the light rain that had occurred in the wee hours of the morning early in the day..... it was humorous to say the least....
