Yes. The tour is very interesting and there is a little store area. It is about an hour and 20 minutes or so from Lancaster though. If you like mall shopping, the second largest mall in the US is another half hour away: King of Prussia Mall.

The QVC outlet is a hit or miss type of store. Sometimes they have things you are interested in and sometimes not. I suppose it would depend on what types of items you are interested in. The store is not lux by any means, but it is better than it used to be. At least things are organized, but it's not fancy.

The Outlet store is situated in a mall like shopping center. There are many other stores in the complex where you can shop. About a mile down the street there is another shopping complex with outlet stores. The variety of stores in the area is good.

That whole area on Rt 30 is full of places to shop, dine and stay for the night. Even though the area is very busy and full of tourists, you will notice the Amish buggy's and Amish stores that share the same space.

If you are already coming to Lancaster and you like to shop, it is worth your time IMO to stop for a visit. Who knows what treasures you will find....and don't forget, there is no sales tax on clothing or shoes in Pennsylvania.

Lancaster is one of my favorite places I love it there. As for the QVC outlet store it is small, and nothing great, but I like to be able to see and touch some of the products.

I was in Lancaster a few months ago and stopped at the outlet. The prices were good but I found absolutely nothing worth a second glance. I was very disappointed. It looked like a bunch of junk to me.

If you get to Florida, do check out the HSN Outlet. Totally different story there.

@Bridgegal. I believe the OP is asking about the discount outlet in Lancaster, not the store at Studio Park.

When I was sat the Lancaster store it was a jumbled up, disorganized mess. I circled the perimeter of the room and walked back out the door.

Oh, of course. You are right. I forgot about that store in Lancaster for the same reason. Went there once and it was like a Dollar Tree with stuff on the floor and everywhere. Before we moved to NM, we lived in the next town over from West Chester where the main facility is. The Lancaster store is much bigger than the main store.

Not the Dollar Tree close to me. It is a disaster! You literally have to step over boxes and junk in the aisles. And there is trash everywhere. The first time I went in, I thought they were just moving stuff around. But it's been like for the last year that we've been here. Awful.

The store has been remodeled and made larger and the merchandise is more organized than it used to be. They even have a designated room for only jewelry. It used to look like the inside of a hoarders house.

It is much better now, but no where near what you would expect. It is still messy. There are still great deals to be had. The areas that are usually well stocked are the kitchen items, jewelry, shoes, handbags and tons of Logo.

Bed linens are usually not plentiful, nor is the cosmetic section. Seasonal decor items are usually well stocked.

Inventory is always changing.

I frequently visit both the QVC Lancaster and Frazer outlets (both on route 30--about 45 minutes apart), and having been going there for a few decades.

They are true outlets, carrying merchandise that was either returned or left over.

Once I bought 10 Dennis Basso blankets for gifts!

The best times used to be when gold jewelry was up to 75% off. Boy, I really purchased some great buys! But, the stores no longer carry as much gold as before...

However, there are still bargains to be found--examples: all white pants $5.00, all D&B purses $75.00, all clothes 70% off.

The Lancaster store is a bit better for shopping, because it is surrounded by two giant outlet malls (Rockvale and Tanger) with many, many stores!

Lancaster is a true vacation destination, with lots to see and do, especially regarding the Amish culture.

I was at the QVC outlet in Lancaster Pa today. They had 70% off the entire store. My mom found a Vera Bradley bag that she loved. It discounted down to $24.00. Great find! I did not find anything today but have many other times. I didn’t think the store was stocked as fully as it usually is today, but maybe that’s because of the big sale. Em

We're in Lancaster about 5 or 6 time a year. We used to always visit the QVC outlet store but lately we've been skipping it. Everytime we would go in we'd see the same old tired merchandise over and over. The one thing they always seem to have a ton of are items from the Temptation line.

The whole store is hit or miss.

I've never shopped for clothes because it's a big disorganized mess. They have the clothing sorted according to sizes, but that doesn't mean you won't find the wrong size in the wrong place. There are several racks and if you have the time and patience to go through them, you may find something. The shoes are at least on racks so it's easier to take a fast look. The purses are generally all lumped together on stands. Nothing is sorted by designer. Some bags, like Dooney & Bourke, used to be displayed in glass cases which were locked. Not sure if they still do that since I haven't been in the store for a few months.

Before they remodeled the store, the jewelry department was much larger and offered so much more. Or course that was back when QVC aired jewelry shows every day, several times a day! You never know what treasure you may find - and for the most part you can get a very good bargain. The jewelry department is probably the best organized area in the store. They have cases just for gold jewelry, silver jewelry, etc. The rings are displayed in ring trays that are clearly marked with the sizes. Earrings are displayed in revolving clear cases on top of the counters. With the exception of some costume jewelry, everything is under lock and key of course. If they're busy, take a number to be waited on. I always walked around to see if there was anything I even wanted to have a better look at before I even took a number. They also used to have a 15 minute time limit once the SA comes to help you. Not sure if that policy is still in place because when we're there during the week the store is mostly empty.

If you want to visit and have a choice of days, I would go during the week and avoid the weekends. We never travel in that area on the weekends because of the heavy traffic and crowds. Of course the Rockvale Outlet (where QVC is located) has so many empty stores now it may not be as crowded as it once was. Back in the day, there would be several buses in the parking lot on the weekends.

haven’t been there in a few years. Don’t live far from there a couple hour drive for me. Use to go there all the time. Better for me to shop in my state, no sales tax, PA some items is taxed others not.

Q outlet was unusual. Found some different items at times most of the time it was a in out of the store.nothing to purchase for me.

Absolutely - it's worth stopping in. As many have said - it can be hit or miss. You and I could be shopping together and it's a hit for you and a miss for me! All depends what interests you. It's much better organized and easier to shop than it was in the past. That said, it's not Niemann Marcus! Good selection and good prices on jewelry, plenty of kitchen items (lots of Temp-Tations), lots of holiday decor. Large selection of boots, shoes and purses, and plenty of clothing. Limited electronics, very little beauty. We'll be stopping in there next weekend.

If you are looking for a tasty meal before or after your shopping, I'd recommend Dienner's Country Restaurant, just up the road a piece right on Route 30, next to the huge windmill! Not fancy, just good home cooking, very reasonably priced.

Enjoy the beautiful Lancaster County area!

really no more tours?? my parents use to go there i'd say 7 yrs ago usually once every 2 weeks.. but my mom said it started going downhill the past 5 or so yrs.. i was there long long time ago.. it was just ok... but i thought the tours were an awesome idea... i never did go on one. but it would be so interesting.. i guess i wont now lol thats a shame.. if they did that store right, they could be raking in the money.. and if they could do returns there.. now thats a good idea too... its a shame ohhhhh sorry i was talking about the studio park... my bad lol didnt know they had a store in lancaster?
