Favorite Halloween Candy?

The map posted is supposed to show each state's favorite Halloween candy. My state has listed the Mars Chocolate Bar. What?

I don't agree. I never even tried one and there aren't many candy bars I haven't tried.

Do you think candy shown on the map is correct for your state? ( if you live in a Reese's PB state, it is probably correct...Mmmm)

I am from Colorado and I wasn't a total nerd in school.
I would go with Chocolate bars.

@Carmie I'm in WA state now but spent 61 years in California and I LOVE Milky Way and 3 Musketers. Kit Kat's are just OK.

I'm from Pennsylvania. Mars ? I haven't seen a Mars bar in stores for many, many years.

My vote is for Reese's peanut butter cups !

I would agree that in Michigan it is Reese's. Although I personally prefer Snickers, when I give out Reese's for Halloween I get a lot of happy goblins!

I'm in Ohio, but I'm not even sure what a Mars Bar is. Is that a Snickers or a Milky Way? Anyway, I would have gladly eaten those when I was a kid, but now I'd go for solid chocolate (Hershey bar), M&M's, or Reese's because I can never turn down my two favs together.....peanut butter and chocolate!

What? Not a single Candy Corn? I like candy corn.

I also really like Kit Kat and am from CA, so that works for me. Almond Joy is another of my favs. Oh, and Butterfinger!

13 states choose Reese's! That's pretty amazing. I also like them very much but my fav is the Reese's PB Egg. They just seem better than the cups, although the cups are very good too. I still have some PB Eggs in the freezer from last season. Put 'em in Lock & Lock and in the refrigerator or freezer and they stay good for a very long time.

Mars is supposed to be PA's favorite...I've never seen or heard of one. Here's a pic.

Mmmm...creamy milk chocolate and coconut with a whole almond on top. Can't beat that! It's always been one of my favs, also.

Well darn! Fortunatly, I'm not diabetic but I still try to keep the refined sugar to a minimum - well, kind of. Of course, I love milk chocolate and don't care for dark chocolate too much. I choose the less healthy option. hehe

Intersting that snickers is the main choice as I have not purchased snickers bars for halloween in years...I think they may need to add some additional choices such as almond joys and nestle crunch bars...just saying!

The Mars Bar is the British equivalent of the Milky Way, so I'm surprised they even listed it for a U.S. state.

They may also be available from Canada. Having lived in England for 20 years, I prefer the Mars Bar to the Milky Way. There's a slight difference because of the chocolate used.

Maybe PA has a lot of ex-pats?
