We got all the outside cats fixed except one that had 3 kittens. Found homes for 2 and the third got injured climbing a tree next to the porch. Friday night DD noticed a gash, not real deep or big on her stomach. Must have fallen in the tree and caught something pointy.

She took her to emergency vet and 3 hrs. and an arm and a leg later she was in the house in a large cat carrier. Sent home with antibiotics and pain meds. Said to limit her activity. Yeah, right.

DD got an outdoor fence thing meant for small dogs. It's in my LR with a 2 lb. kitten in it. Of course, DD got a cat bed, pink no less, some toys. She is eating and drinking. Takes the meds fine. Dear God, she's busy. Climbed out this am. Up the stairs. We put an old sheet over the fence and used alligator clips to anchor it so she can't escape again. Doesn't look great but she's safe.

Will have to find her a home when she heals. My sister said no to finding her a home as she already bonded with us. My 11 yr. old cat is not happy at all.

It's like chasing a toddler around. I must say for a 8 or 9 week old feral cat she is very friendly. Loves to be held too. Usually they are nothing but claws and teeth.

Such as been our weekend.

She is black with white on her legs and white on her face. She has a black spot on her nose. She is cute as as bug and she was always the bravest of the 3 kittens. The other 2 scatter when anyone goes on the porch. She would just sit and watch you.

Man my cat's nose is out of joint. She won't even come in the LR. You can't explain that she is hurt and needs to be inside.

She sounds sweet!

Right now I'm kitty sitting my DD's two 6 month old kittens for a week. They are adorable and very affectionate. I've been keeping them with their things in a spare room upstairs. They have two windows to sit by and lots of toys. I don't want them getting into mischief around the house. I come in to feed & play several times a day.

It sounds like the kitten's accident is the best thing that could have happened to her. She's now found a loving home and will not have to live outside and be a feral cat. I'm happy for the kitten and your family.

I've thoroughly enjoyed reading about the adventures of this little furball in your home! Bless you and your daughter for taking her in, although I doubt it surprises any of us here! BTW - I also enjoy your "Bill" stories. Take care and enjoy your new little toddler!

RetiredLegal....

THANK YOU FOR CARING SO MUCH ABOUT THE LESS FORTUNATE ANIMAL FRIENDS!

YOU'RE AWESOME.

Please try to get her an indoor home if you can - find a loving, caring, kind and sweet family that has time and love in their heart for her....it seems as if you really don't have the energy to be chasing after another (energizerbunny go-go-go kitten) and I can't say I blame you.

You have done an exceptional job in caring for her - but alas - she is not a good fit for you (by your own observation) - I'm sure someone as kind and humane and generous as you, must have like minded friends.....find her a home in their family.

God Bless you and your ANGELKINDNESS shown to her.
