Winter Squash Season is here!

And I love the Delicata Squash💛 Got my first one for the season!

Do you see any in your markets?

I saw these at my local farm at the beginning of the month.

My friend loves all things squash; delicata is her fave.

I find it to be just ok, but eat and enjoy!

Yes, I cooked delicata squash yesterday. My grocery has a big display of winter squashes, from pumpkins to spaghetti squash and I love them all.

Looks yummy!

I've never see/made this variety. Is the skin edible, or must they be peeled?

Some of those tough-skinned squash are so hard to get into, I just chop them in half and bake.

How are these?

The skin is edible!

I find delicata to be sweeter than an acorn, butternut, or other types of non-edible skinned squashes. They’re so pretty.

Trader Joe's has a truckload. The store is so festive with the variety of squash on display.

Delicata squash is one of my favorites. I have 2 of them on my counter. I picked them up at Trader Joe’s.

I was going to say the same thing! I love Delicata and Trader Joe's has the best price in town!

Do you have any great recipes for cooking? I tend to go the path of least work, cut them open, remove the seeds and bake.

Thanks for the reminder!

I believe it was Noel 7 (years ago) who introduced me to Delicata Squash at Trader Joe's.

I'll be sure to look for it next time I'm there.
