Why does it take so long to receive items from QVC???

I ordered a closet organizer and it finally came today. Took 9 days to get to Michigan. Today I went on Amazon and saw the same item. I ordered another one and it will be here tomorrow. I think from now on if I see an item on QVC I will check Amazon to see if they have it. It might cost a little more but I won't have to wait 9 days to get it!

Every shopping experience is different. I've waited way longer than that for items to be received. Generally I get my items anywhere from 7-10 days which I feel is reasonable. I guess if you're an impatient person then you have to make the choice where to shop.

@Blackcatmom You mean the closet organizer cost MORE on Amazon?? That surprises me. Not the fast shipping, though. I don't have Prime, and I still get my stuff within a couple of days, tops, as well as free shipping.

I placed an order for a Linea jewelry piece on the 13th. It shipped the same day and I'll get it tomorrow, the 18th. I don't consider that "taking too long". Depends on what the item is and from where it's shipped.

Amazon is not perfect either. I ordered a leather band for my DH's FitBit from Amazon on a Friday. Hours later, I ordered some dog treats from Amazon. Both items were guaranteed delivery by Monday.

Tuesday came, one day late, and we got the dog treats... No leather band. I checked Amazon com to track it. Tracking said it was delivered to my front porch in the same box with the dog treats. We doubled checked the box and the band was not in there.

I called Amazon on that same Tuesday and CS refunded my money and told me to reorder. I did. That was now guaranteed to be delivered on Thursday a week ago. I didn't get it. Well, tracking said that package was delayed and probably lost. I called Amazon again today. They refunded my money again and I reordered.

I am hoping that the third time is a charm. I am a Prime Member and the band is guaranteed to be delivered on Thursday. I hope so. It was supposed to be delivered on September 9 originally. I have ordered this item 3 times and got 2 refunds and made 2 phone calls.

This is the first time Amazon has not delivered promptly...but it has been a doozy of a problem.

I just waited for over 2 weeks for a SAK bag to arrive!
