I saw him last year at the NYS fair. It was so sad that he couldn't sing like he use to. His daughter did most of the singing. I loved him back in the day. RIP

Eddie Money, the prolific singer and songwriter whose songs “Baby Hold On,” “Two Tickets to Paradise,” “Shakin'” and “Take Me Home Tonight” soundtracked popular music in the 1980s, has died. He was 70.

Eddie Money had recently revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. RIP

oh no! I saw him about 20 years ago. Really enjoyed his music. "Take Me Home Tonight" one of my favorite videos.

So sad to read this. I've always loved his music. Saw him years ago on the Jersey Shore. I loved "I Wanna Go Back".

When I hear his songs on the radio , I smile as I remember dancing to his music when I was young. I turn up the car radio and sing the lyrics when I hear his music !

I was out this morning and my husband sent me a text about Eddie. My heart just sank.

We've seen him twice at Ramshead Tavern in Annapolis and, I kept hoping he would return. Then, he announced he had cancer.

His music is unmistakable, happy, glorious rock and roll. He will be missed by many.

Watched his video on Youtube of "I Wanna Go Back" and just had to cry.

Rest in peace Eddie.

Eddie used to give free concerts at Eisenhower Park on Long Island when they had their car show event. My daughter and I would go and have the best time. We lived on Long Island at the time so it was a no brainer and we had to go. We looked forward to this event every September. My daughter loved his songs and as she passed away unexpectedly last October at the age of 28, these memories hold a special place in my heart. ....RIP Eddie Money

Just last night on his realty tv show 'Real Money' they were just starting to reveal his diagnosis, can't believe it took his life that quickly.

Baby Hold On..I'm beholdin' to the oldies, too and am crying.
