Labor Day - Which are you?

This weekend - are you all summer, or all fall?

Are you into fall clothes already with your home looking like fall?

I love the colors of fall, and those colors look good on me, but I hate the thought of leaving warm sunny days at the beach behind!

I will dress in white and use my summer dishes one last time. Next week I will do my fall decorating and put my "summery" clothes away.

So until Tuesday - I'm "all summer"!

I'm summer til the bitter end. Season is so short here I embrace it as long as possible, which is usually into October.

It will be 92 here. We are all summer until at least the end of October. Our fall comes in January/February. lol!!

Fall sneaks into my house in August. It starts with the sunflowers and wild grasses and cat tails ....

Next week the duvet covers in the bedrooms, lamp shades, pillow covers and shower curtains will change into a more autumy look.

It is a gradual look in September because we will still have warm temperatures and maybe a beach trip too.

My porch is mostly Fall, but inside and wardrobe are still summer. Warm here at least through October.

Still all summer here!

The last few mornings have been cool and lovely, but afternoons are still saying summer.

I have no desire to rush the season, but I may change my toenail color next week.

Fall??? What fall. Our temps are still in the high 90's during the day. At least the nights are going down to the 70's.

We had nights in the 90's.

I will start browsing through my fall decos, though.

I know what you mean. Even if they are years and years old I keep wearing the the "fall colored" SHORT sleeve shirts I have. Fall colors on top with sandals on my feet. I checked the 10 day this morning and a week from tomorrow is 97 @Cakers3 Oh well.

I'm a transition into the coming season person. I'm transitioning right now. I just spent time working on a new fall kitchen scheme, but like you, @beach-mom , I've been wearing white frequently.

It's pleasantly warm here but the garden and forest are looking fall-ish to me. The earth's angle to the sun has moved perceptibly, too, and the shadows are different. It's really a lovely time.

I'm a creature of habit!

For as long as I can remember, my closets are changed on Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend. I'll start tomorrow (Fri) morning.

My mattress is rotated when clocks are changed for DT and DST.

On never have done seasonal decorating. I like my decor just the way it is.

My fall wreath is on the front door and my living and dining rooms are decorated for fall. Since fall is a relatively short season here I want to enjoy it as much as possible. I will put out my fall dishes this weekend and get out the throws. Will be looking forward to a pumpkin latte soon and turning on the fireplace. Bye bye summer, heat and humidity are for others.

Senseless to go by dates. Mother Nature doesn’t work that way as much I’d love fall to get here!

I used to be all-summer because I was a tennis player. I used to be all-winter because I used to figure skate. Now I do aerobic dance and love fall the most. I live in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York and fall is spectacular here. The multi colored trees against the backdrop of lake, waterfall, and sky are simply fantastic.

It's predicted to be in mid 90s everyday for the foreseeable future....hardly sweater weather. My fall wardrobe is ready though, as soon as the weather is.
