Get Ready for the HEAT!

Wednesday it will start heating up but Thursday and Friday, we will be FRYING! High 90's and wth the heat index it will feel like we are in100's. I hate it. This is for the Chicago area. Our weather person said it will be hot throughout the U.S. How about you? Are you part of this intense heat. Please mention your area. Stay cool.

We will be driving back to suburban NYC this weekend from Delaware, right now down here it is 84 degrees with a humidity of 85%

Saturday's supposed to hit actual 100°

Heat Index will be 105-110° tomorrow through Sunday.

It smells here😆

It's the Air Quality Alerts that throw things over the edge. Don't know, though, if we'll have them this week.

Heat index here today was 108. The temp only got to 98, but should hit 100 tomorrow and hover around 98-100 for the next ten days. The heat index I don’t even want to know. God bless Mr. Carrier, who invented air conditioning.

Cincinnati: Hot, 95 plus this weekend. Saturday is my son's BD and going to the IMAX to see Apollo 11 show. It will be cold in there. This is why I like winter. You can always dress for that.

We may hit 100° for the first time this year on Friday. It's July, it's supposed to be hot. I just hibernate like it was January in Minnesota; my A.C. works great. So far, this summer hasn't been bad at all.

Pittsburgh here. 91 on Friday, 94 Saturday, 90 Sunday. That's not factoring in humidity. Feels like the seventh circle of hell already, and it only went up to 84 today. Very humid.

Southeastern Pa we're going to be super hot & humid for the next 7 days....I plan on staying indoors tomorrow and staying cool! I made myself some ice pops for the next few days.

It never gets too hot where I live, but just learned it will be in the high 90’s and very humid, in the New England area where I’ll be spending this next weekend.

Eastern shore of md 100 on sat with heat index of 113. Not factoring in humidity. I do love the heat and we have sat out in it on the back porch every night. Yep we sit and sweat, but we soak it up before dreaded fall and winter. We will probably be on the beach under an umbrella and I will drag my chair right to the waters edge. Ocean temps really really warm. Feels wonderful...just walk in. 🏄🏻‍♂️

I've been glancing at this 'temperature outlook' map on one of my bookmarked pages and so far it's been agreeing with how it's been here in Colorado. I'm not complaining. It's been very nice here, with only a couple of very hot days so far.

It was 115 in Phoenix today. Next week it cools down to 105 or so.

In Arizona we have over 120 days of over 100. But it’s a dry heat.

@Meowingkitty I don't know how you do it living in Phoenix. I have relatives in Tempe. If you love the heat, I guess it works for you. I like the cold more than the high temperatures. Stay cool.

It has been between 105 and 110 all week in Vegas. Humidity 5-9%. The solution to the problem is to stay in the air conditioning and order everything you need online.
