Sad day

My oldest sister died early this morning. She lives in a different state than myself and my 1 remaining older sister. All 3 of her children, from different states, were with her, along with grand, and great grandchildren that live in that state.

Like her deceased husband, she has donated her body to science. Had 3 older sisters, now just one remains. Would appreciate thoughts for her wonderful family.

John,

My eyes are wet as I write this. I am so very sorry for the loss of your dear sister. Do we really know how much we are going to cherish our siblings' presence in our lives before they have left us? As I once read, no one knows you and your personal history better than a sibling who grew up in the same family as you. It is a fact. Plus, we typically share 50% of their genes, so we are similar to them.

Your loss is great, and I understand, to a degree, the measure of your pain.

May your sister rest in peace and may her family take strength from their beautiful memories of her and from their presence when she departed this world.

You remember her fondly; that is apparent. Stay strong, John. (((hugs)))
