Ladies it has been a long 2 weeks since Abby was spayed and I did not get a chance to share with everyone what we went through. As some of you know, she bled during surgery and had to have Plasma. I got her home and she did well then 4 days post-op her belly swelled and her incision looked like it was going to pop. We went to the Vet and she had an infection. Ugh!, the vet opened the incision a little, had me do warm moist compresses and antibiotics. I took her back to the vet in 2 days and she was much improved. Today I took her back and they clipped a little stitch that was working out but the wound looks good and finally tomorrow, I get to let her free without her cone. She will be so happy. She is doing great now. That is the first time that I ever had a dog spay complication. The vet does think she has a mile bleeding disorder. Thank you everyone for your warm thoughts and prayers.
