Yellow pollen

Headaches, sneezing, it is every where, on my front porch i took the hose to it,but that really did not do much good, got some cloths and swifter , clean it off ,my oh my, the cloths were heavy with the pollen, any one know of a good reference to finding a good air purifier, do not belong to consumer reports, there is so much on the internet, trying to sell you their brands.

@goldensrbest We had some of that a couple months ago, but lately there's no way any pollen could make it through all the rain we've been getting.

It was all over the place a couple months ago.

DH could hardly talk plus his eyes were itching really bad.

We have had a lot of rain with flooding in some parts of town.

I think it's finally going to move out but it keeps popping back up.

We have had another 5" in the past couple of weeks. Rained most of May.

Farmers cannot plant their crops because their equipment just sinks in the mud.

Yes, one would think we would not have it right now, but we do, we have had quite alot of rain this spring.It is 7.2 for my area.

I moved to a new area about 2 1/2 years ago, and the first spring I was here the yellow pollen was something I had never seen before. Not sure about being allergic, but I had flem in my throat for a couple months.

I began taking 1 tablespoon of local raw wildflower honey a day. The past 2 springs I haven't been bothered by the yellow stuff. We get it much earlier in spring though - about March and April. Try adding in the local honey. I add it to a fruit smoothie in the morning for breakfast, but it'd be good in cereal or oatmeal or on a bowl of strawberries or grapes, etc... It also goes very well w/cheddar cheese believe it or not. Just a dab on top.

DH was very sick with allergies a couple of months ago...lasted a whole month and had to go to dr, then I had problems also....he has never been bothered by allergies before and I haven’t in years...it was exceptionally high this year...but we have had so much rain it isn’t bad now....pollen is a spring thing...and now it is summer, so most of the pollen counts have dropped here in Texas. I guess it varies by state and what is blooming and growing where you are.
For an air purifier, I would look on the Costco website and buy one from Costco, if it doesn’t help like you want it to....you can take it back, no problem.

I have been researching what you need to look for in air purifers, the CADR, rate is important ,you need at least,300.True hepa.
