@Anonymous032819 @So there is no better way to wind down and relax than in your own home.Do you plan to eat dinner out or do a little shopping or just get a good book to read start to finish.Will you sleep late and stay in your pjs until noon?

@ValuSkr On a stay-cation you don’t do things around the house. You relax, drink margaritas or whatever, and do nothing but fun things. You turn off your phone and do not have contact with the outside world.

@Anonymous032819 Have a great time! Don’t let phone calls, outside communications interfere with your stay-vacation. Somehow before cell phones and facetime we managed to get away for a week without talking to anyone. Enjoy your time!😄

I agree....home is best. DH and I just returned from a vacation at the beach. The view was beautiful, the sounds, oh so nice out on the balcony with coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening....but the traffic, not sure where we are going (1st time in the area)....I found most of the time in the car was stressful and I am not a person that usually gets stressed out.

So expensive to do anything....tourist wise.

DH wanted to take the trip, and we have not vacationed in many years so I didn't have an issue going but was more than glad to be home.

My husband and I are also on a stay-cation.

I have big plans

Day one - grocery store

Day two - Bob Evans eat dinner

Day three - movies

Day four - home goods store

Day five - food tour

Day six - pancakes house

Yeah!!!
