I posted this on a more general forum but thought I'd also post here. So many of you wonderful members offerred me words of consolation when my Greyhound passed on in late May. I took so much comfort in all the kind words and good wishes extended here. And for a while it felt so lonely at home. My husband and I had our 2 rescue Greyhounds for 11 years and suddenly we were witout any pets at all. I felt heartbroken and cried a million tears. But, I am happy to introduce Dorothy and Janet--the 2 new members of our family that will be coming home in a few weeks. They are Maine Coon kittens and I am so excited to be a Kitty Mom!

It is a wonderful thing that our pets do--finding a way to make our hearts bigger. And as much as it hurts to not have my beloved Greyhounds--it feels good to now have 2 new little furry balls of wonder to call family. I'll post another picture once we get them home. Thanks again to all for helping thru the hard time!
