🇺🇸 37,000 Flags On Boston Common

There are actually 37,000 plus, to honor Massachusetts soldiers killed in service since the Revolutionary War.

They were placed on the Common by 700 volunteers. The photos can't even show all of them.

The Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund sponsors this event.

Volunteers not only help place all the flags but also sign up for 2-hour shifts to guard over the flags.

You can also donate $ if you cannot volunteer.

The first flag garden went up in 2010.
