I live in a apartment complex where there is a LOT of big windows. I live in the Pacific Northwest so it doesn't get as warm as some areas of the country but warm enough that it is a huge pain to me because of my medical issues AND because of all the windows and I live on the 3rd floor. I am moving at the end of September but I still have to deal with this summer in this apartment. (I am still staying in the same geographical location.)

At this moment I can not recall the exact measurements but the length is around 96" for 3 of the windows that are the most affected by the warmth (sun). I looked for curtains at some retail stores and they are hard to find for that length.

Would anyone have ANY OTHER suggestions concerning curtains or things to block out the heat? I do not have a sewing machine and believe it or not I do NOT know how to sew more than sewing a button by hand on any item. It is something I really want to know.

I do not have much money as I am on disability. Maybe there is something I am missing and someone here has a suggestion that would help and I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, Mama.
