It seems that nearly all women under 50 prefer longer hair. Something I've noticed is that so many of them are wearing about 2/3 of their long hair on the front of their shirt, 1/3 on one side, 1/3 on the other. On some women it looks ludicrous to me--I call it Spaniel Ears, and especially if the woman has blond or light-brown hair, the spaniel resemblance is even more pronounced.

It's been ages since I've seen a woman under 50 on tv with short hair. They may be out there, though. I'm just sayin' that not every woman looks good with long hair. Diane Gilman, whom I love, is just buried in her hair, bless her heart. It drowns out her face, which is sort of peeping out of all that hair.
