Unfortunately I got resin on my laurie felt jeans when helping my son with an art piece. I immediately took them off and applied acetone. It left a ring, so I washed them and did not put them in the dryer. The stain was still there. Then I mixed vinegar and some dawn dishwashing liquid and poured it on the stains, let it sit and then rewashed. Unfortunately the stain is still there. Anyone have a magic potion stain remover? Thanks

I will take a stab, and say you ,might need to try to re-dye the spot. I think you removed the color

In the long run ,it is cheaper to take things like this to a dry cleaners, and see if they can fix it

You've done so much to them that it's possible that stain will never come. You should have taken them to your dry cleaners and told him what caused the stain. They can do wonders with stains but they always "leave it alone, don't do anything yourself". You can still take them in and explain the stain what put on it. Hopefully, they can get it out or at least make it better for you.

Thanks for the contact info on Laurie Felt. The stain is dark. Just like it was when the resin dropped. I wanted to get it out before It hardened. Acetone removes it from my hands when I don’t wear gloves. I think you guys are right. I messed with it too much. Next time, dry cleaners! Yikes oh well.

Good luck. LuLu
