Anybody with rough weather on Friday?

It was a terrible day. March of endless Thunderstorms (with a capital T) the tremendous noise they were making. Most of the day was like that. A storm, cloudy, a storm, cloudy, a storm, etc. In to the night. Though Iwas deaf to world. (heavy sleeper) Woke up husband though and scared the cat. My son was like me....he can sleep through anything.

We had that weather Thursday afternoon. I fell asleep and was awakened by thunder. When I open my eyes it was so dark, I thought it was night. We're so dry here that we embrace any sort of stormy weather. We got about .58" of welcome rain.

That was earlier in the week for us. Quite a stir in the atmosphere.

WE had a tornado warning. Very scary-tv and phone said take shelter NOW!

So my mother and I went into the bathroom (no windows) and talked and did exercises.

It didn't come.

I did hear REston VA got a lot of dammage from a tornado that touche down.

We were under severe weather and tornado warnings most of the day Friday. Some lost power but most homes were restored by that evening. Some of the smaller towns in middle Georgia were hit pretty bad after the storm passed. Thank goodness no one was injured or killed unlike what happened in MS and other states.

Yes! We had tornado warnings and watches most of the day. I haven't heard about any damage or injuries, thankfully.

Serious tornado warnings on Friday. The one that says TAKE COVER NOW!

Tornadoes scare the stuffin' right out of me.

Spent two hours in the SAFE ROOM / CLOSET with a sick Labrador, a rowdy BePug, four PEEVED cats, flashlight, and Iphone.

A Dairy just a mile or so away was hit. So sad.

We only had more tree limbs down, Thankfully.

We don't like them, we don't like them at all!
