    <description>I would never buy a Vitamix....unless I bought one at Costco and then I could return the whole thing for a full refund. I could never justify the price for how little I would probably use it.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;smileymad: I was one of the first people to be notified by a postcard that Vitamix was in a lawsuit- I sent in my info- asked for a replacement blade- months later it was denied by email and said if I wanted to be re-considered to send pictures and I sent full pictures of all the serial numbers the receipt from QVC the pics of the mixer itself- and 6 months later still nothing- I tried emailing them and it says email address is invalid- but it's A LINK! so I typed it into an email- says site is closed- what kind of ****** is that??? QVC should replace this imo!! they sold it to me!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Qvc is just the retailer, Qvc didn't manufacture it.&amp;nbsp; Do Google search and you might get some information but honestly, I think you just have to accept that you aren't getting anything from that settlement.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I will say up front, I have no dog in this fight as I don't own a VitaMix. Also, to be transparent, the only thing I know about the VitaMix problem is the few posts I've read her.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To ask a legit question and play devil's advocate: is this one of those deals where this was done specifically for QVC? If so, why shouldn't the Q help make things right? When hosts say, as they often do, "XXX Manufacturer did this especially for us and our customers," shouldn't they stand behind the customer?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just a thought.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I just received notice that Vitamix will send notifications in May of how to package up container and return it to them for the replacement blades. &amp;nbsp;Meanwhile unless you have another container you have no use of the blender. &amp;nbsp;Who knows how long this process will take. &amp;nbsp;I make smoothies in Vitamix just about everyday, so may just bite the bullet on this and purchase a new container. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
