Of another generation, and another philosophy than mine, but a good natured, hard working public figure, much in the news in past years. Dead at 91.

Would appreciate the absence of partisan comments. Just wanted to note the passing-- I hate to see remnants of that generation depart.

He will certainly be missed.

I got to meet him (briefly) years ago and the group that I was with had our picture taken with him.

He was the only non-Founding Father to author 2 amendments to the Constitution.
