Why Do We Love QVC Forums?

I can say that I really learned a lot about beauty products and still learning and I have tried new brands that I really love. I enjoy fashion because the women are very savvy about style. I also found that there are some really nice ladies that I don't know personally but their personality shines through in their words. How about you? Why do you enjoy the forum?

I have found the forums empowering. Women from all walks of life, faith, education, etc. have a voice. I have learned much, been supported when I need, and have supported others. When I have a question, I look here first because I have had such good input. So many topics are discussed and I find many views that maybe I would not have considered otherwise. I discovered the forums while I was recovering from ovarian cancer and couldn't sleep. It was a life thread for me, even though I was not looking for answers at that point. I was just wanting to connect to other people.

Great topic; I look forward to other responses.

I love the forums. I consult what people are saying about a certain item I am interested in purchasing. A lot of the posters have a great sense of humor and some of them make me laugh out loud. I feel like if some of these posters lived near me we could all have lunch. Or better still Happy Hour LOL.

easy access

i enjoy chatting where i also do some shopping.

even better since the MODS joined the fray.

some eye opening viewpoints

good place to get ideas on products on and off of qvc.

interesting life experiences are sometimes shared.....good and bad.

I love the boards because you can learn so much here. I got some great recipes, travel tips and the book to read on my vacation all here. I learn about makeup and moisturizer and hair care. I can find out the latest exercise and fitness tips. I love the honesty and when people let you know something cheaper elsewhere. These boards made me laugh and cry and celebrate wonderful things. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to respond in a nice respectful way. Always know that you may brighten someone’s day. ❤️❤️

People that I don’t know, and will never meet, cheer you on in the good times and support you when it’s tough. When you ask for recommendations or suggestions there are always people anxious to offer their experience.

I started reading the beauty forums on HSN, and then, if I recall, they shut theirs down for a time (many years ago) and I found this one. There were, and are, so many knowledgable people posting, and I learned a lot. I also get to share my experiences and help others as I've been helped.

This is a great place to ask questions and get information on items before trying/buying something new. I like the back and forth of the discussion more than merely reading reviews (which I really do appreciate). And while I I don't generally ask about medical or personal things, it provides great support for people and I sometimes find a thread (like the recent one on migraines) that helps me as well as others.

While we are all different, with different interests and needs, I know that I really value the time people take to respond and that they share some much information so willingly. We are strangers, but we are a true community.

I will be honest, I like this forum for all the reason that you listed. I've been contributing for quite a while so it's a habit with me now. I do appreciate it when ladies share new products and when we all discuss fashion and styles and thoughts and opinions on the few non-QVC subjects were are allowed to discuss. However, there's so much whining and moaning and groaning and complaining about prices and delivery times "everything was better back in the 90's" stuff that this board is getting tedius. Not to mention the constant trashing and bashing of specific designers. I belong to other boards and FB groups and I just don't see all the complaining about things that aren't even a QVC issue. It's not QVC's fault if we cannot afford something.

Of course it is not QVC’s fault if you can’t afford an item. However since value is in their name, it irritated me when the price goes up , but the quality goes down. I think that is a valid complaint.

I love to learn from others who take the time to post their experiences about almost anything right here in one place,I also love the support and advice that I have received over the years.Sometimes things that you couldn’t discuss with family are easier to discuss here in annomity.I have learned a lot about myself from the good and not so good responses I have received over the years...thanks to everyone for being here and for your contributions.
