I've complained to management over the probably 30 plus years this store has been open, several times about various service or stocking issues. It does reach a point where it's obvious they aren't going to do what needs done, or don't have the abilities to do it. This particular store goes through cycles of things running really well, and other times, nothing runs well, and they continually change management.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Today's retail is not managed locally, and most management in them is substandard. They have no control over their ordering, they get what the corporate offices say they are going to get, when they say they are going to get it. They are told how to merchandise it, how to promote it, and feel helpless to really create an environment of excellence. They don't choose their staff, and are left to work with the staff that is hired by human resources departments outside the area. Some can't even control&amp;nbsp;their thermostats and climate is controlled&amp;nbsp;by corporate office.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Managers are moved about frequently, and many have the customer service skills of a door knob. There is inadequate training in much of retail today, because the turnover is so high, there often isn't a good, long term employee base to give adequate, let alone good customer service. I've even had people I know who work in the big mega stores (and this is one of those, but not Walmart) say they have been told that management is limiting fronline service employees, to force customers into self service. That's just fine, but you have to have the proper space and equipment for customers to serve themselves. This store does not.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm done calling management. I'm done walking a half a mile across the store to find service personnel. I will buy when the service is there, and when it isn't I'll leave. I continue to go to this particular store, as in our area it has the biggest selection (carries things we can't get elsewhere) has the overall best prices and rewards program, and the deepest discount sales. It saves many hundreds of dollars per year compared to shopping at the nearest large competitor.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I left a cart one time. I felt it was entirely unreasonable to not have a place to process a full large order, during prime business hours. I really don't see how anyone would reasonably expect that customers are going to put back all their groceries when it is the store and the management that isn't upholding their end of the process, providing adequate checkout areas for large orders. (again, there were only self service stations with limit 20 items and no space to process a full cart of groceries, even if you ignored the limit)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Seems they are encouraging customers to use the self check outs.&amp;nbsp; I have been lately since I dislike standing in long lines.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4" color="#3366FF"&gt;Also did they always have a 90 day return policy on clothing?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; If they did, I guess I always returned things sooner since I didnt realize this.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Our local Wal-mart took out half the registers and replaced them with self-serve. &amp;nbsp;One person watches the self-serve customers. &amp;nbsp; That one person replaces about five registers...all about the money, &amp;nbsp;I've never heard of any merchant offering a 90 day return policy....very generous.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Our local Walmart has added a few new self check out registers, but they did not remove any of the employee run registers. &amp;nbsp;The store is always super busy, even after midnight.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Everyday there are shoplifters caught at the store. &amp;nbsp;I go to the police department site and check out who was arrested. &amp;nbsp;I can't the believe how dumb or desperate people are. &amp;nbsp;Some people are caught with a cart load of stolen goods.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Their security department sure gets a workout. I am sure the shop lifting problems inflate prices for all of us.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Wow, I am surprised they have a 90 day return policy. &amp;nbsp;If you hung on to clothing for 3 months before you returned it, it would be out of season and could not be put back on the rack, and they would lose money on it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Most retailers, including Amazon, have a 30 day or less return policy.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Our Walmart has 25 registers...but usually only two have cashiers. The self-checkout always has long lines due to that. Almost every self-checkout register has a glitch in it and malfunctions often &amp;nbsp;from my observation...they usually have an elderly man standing by them to troubleshoot &amp;nbsp;but he usually just fusses at the customer for doing something wrong....I avoid the mess altogether and go to the garden center to checkout....nice man who is usually out there....if you wake him up, he is very helpful.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Typically shop at WalMart in the morning, and before they installed the self-checkout registers it was always a pain standing in line because they never had more than 3 cashiers on duty.&amp;nbsp; Loved it when they put in the self-checkouts.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;WM self checks are better now than they used to be where the robot voice would nag about every little thing. they still say Unexpected item in bagging area when you can't separate those !%&amp;amp;^?! cheezy gray plastic bags to open them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But the new thing is WM i go to put in little video screen cams so you give them a selfie while checking out.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Walmart has people stealing TV's between their legs while using long, long trench coats to cover up and acting like they're just fat or pregnant.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;women take pregnancy test kits into the bathroom, get their results and pitch in trash.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;mothers let their kids eat pastries without paying for.&amp;nbsp; same goes for fruit.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We all pay for this, they mark up the produce to take into account loss of fruit by mothers letting their kids think it's alright to help yourself to the grapes, bananas, apples.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Husband used to work there I know. People bring back bobby pins. Wear the shoes out over a season, then, bring back the smelly shoes and whine "I want refund". People steal stuff, then, come back and want cash saying they have lost their receipt.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;They clamped down on that c^ap though.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;As far as I know, no receipt, no refund.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I wouldn't own a store nowdays if you hand me the keys. FREE. Nope.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The new ones have cameras so they can make sure you are not stealing anything.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I use them all the time since I can check out a lot faster doing it myself.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Last time I was in there I was going to let them check me out but they only had 1 cashier. I had $350 worth of stuff. LOL!!!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I don't know why they have all the registers if they are not going to use them. They don't even all get used during the Holidays.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Wow your Walmart sounds like it has better management than mine. I do hate that they took all the scanners out so you can’t check a price without using the app on your phone....problem is, it rarely works right and gives a goofy price or it says n/a</description>
