WHEN USING MR.REBATES OR EBATES DO YOU GET

the full rebate if you use Easy pay? Do you have to pay in full at time of purchase?

I just ordered a couple things at HSN and chose to pay in full just in case. I do appreciate the fact that HSN often gives you the option of how many Flex pays you would like.

No you don't have to pay in full. The refund from Ebates is given once and it's on the full amount regardless of how you pay for it.

It says so under the QVC tab on Ebates website.

Both Ebates and Mr. Rebates give rebates on the total price of the item, regardless of easy pays or flexpays.

That's why they don't pay out until after 90 days, in case the item purchased is cancelled or returned.

i'm not sure about be frugal when you use easy pay with hsn or qvc. i am about 99% sure, that the rule is no rebate for payment plans, which i think easy pay is.

i just checked on Be Frugal, it does say for the Q, no rebate on deferred payments, if that is considered Easy Pay. I always pay in full, so i am really not sure what that actually means.

As to the original question - I use MrRebates and just yesterday made an order with QVC. I went ahead and punched it through with the three payments, even though it's a pretty small purchase.

By this morning I had an email from MrRebates as to my rebate for the purchase. Near as I can recollect, that's the way it has happened for me with them, for years.

I don't know about ebates, though, as I didn't stick with them long. I don't know if it's the same but way back then, with ebates, when you joined you had to install some program and it had a lot of spyware, so that's why I quit them as soon as I joined them. hehe - didn't even last one purchase.

Hey, @SeaMaiden ! How nice of you to say hi! I have been wondering how your DH is doing health wise. I hope things are fine now. I think of you everyday when my DH takes his Carditone.

I have to tell you that I saw a bottle of Carditone on the shelf at the vet the other day. I told her about the success we had with it for lowering my husband's BP. She had never heard of using it for that. Apparently it is a good heart tonic, too. She took her marker and wrote "good for BP" on the cap. It is great to pass on something that is natural and works.

BTW she is a holistic vet.

@chickenbutt I mostly use Mr.Rebates, too. They offer the best return for the places I shop. I think I got back $2 from Ebates. I didn't even ask for the check, but it came and said "Here is you big fat check". Weird....

I have never received a rebate from shopping on Amazon. Too bad.......

I prefer Mr Rebates because you can request your check. I usually wait until it builds up. I received a check yesterday for $8 from Ebates and that just annoys me.lol

I use mrrebates, and it takes 3 months after a purchase. They credit it right away, then 90 days they pay out. But they only pay out when you want them too. I usually save up, and get a big check. 900 or more. I give it to my husband as a Christmas gift. I have them cut me a check, but my daughter uses paypal. If you use easy pay they credit the full amount of purchase, minus tax amd shipping.
