I have followed Dana for years and she has got to the point where she doesnt post much I just listened to her latest and it is so sad All we can do is pray for her I would do anything just to make her happy She is so brave and strong but right now just needs our prayers For those not on facebook she is seeing mental signs of her cancer and is just having a bad time coping.

So confused - a while ago some poster wrote that Dana was near death - perhaps it was you - don't know who. However, within 2 weeks Dana was back on Q in a sharp sexy gown and was laughing and cutting it up with host. I don't know whether to pray for her or say......thanx.

Sad news. Last time I saw her I thought she looked really good. Maybe a month ago. You never know what people suffer behind closed doors.

Dana needs all the prayers she can get. She has been fighting cancer for several years now. She's one strong incredible woman. I don't think I would be so brave.

She was just on QVC a few days ago.

I think that is probably something she likes to do to get out of thinking about everything else she has to.

She was on QVC just in the past few days. She look good. Prayers for her. I can't imagine what she is going through. I hate the disease.

@Nancy Drew......I too have been battling cancer for 4+ years now. Believe me, it is very hard to go through. I have had treatments.....one treatment every other week for close to 4 years, and then radiation treatments. For now I am holding my own....and once the weather changes, I will be meeting with my oncologist to see what is next on the agenda for me.

Cancer patients go through some days when everything is going smoothly, and then all of the sudden can be down and really wonder if all the treatments are worth it. I know, I have had those days. I am alone, but have a wonderful support group, and wonderful neighbors that are there for me. If I need help, all I have to do is ask. That was one thing I had a hard time dealing with. Was always very independent. But have learned differently as time has gone on.

If you have a friend or loved one that is suffering with cancer, don't ask what you can do....just do something that you think would help that person or family out. Make a nice healthy meal, or offer transportation to doctor's appointments. I have driven myself to all my treatments, and believe me when I say I was worn out by the time I got home. Those treatments are very hard on the body.

Prayers are so important for all cancer patients.

So sorry to hear that. My husband had NHL stage 4. The thing is he was diagnosed in November and by May he was cancer free. We went through the ringer but was very lucky that he didn’t even have to work as the Navy just let him stay home and just phone in every day. After 25 years he earned that. Also no financial worries either. 15 years later still cancer free. So I know some of what cancer patients and their families go through we never had to experience 4 years of it. I was speaking with a dear friend whose wife is battling breast cancer. Her diagnosis was recent (this past Fall she learned she had this dreadful disease), and she is a fighter. She is retired from both the Army and a career in the federal government. As he told me only two months ago, she is "Army strong," which has been her way of saying she will tough this battle out bravely.

Her chemo treatments were going along rather well until this last one. Nausea, vomiting, weakness, loss of appetite -- you name it. She was knocked for a loop for three days. It was very sad news.

They live out West, and all I can do is say prayers and send encouraging messages. How I wish I were there to help more. The friend has been helping me with my woes with a family member who lives in his area.

I hope you are keeping up your strength, ShowMe. You will be among those in my nightly prayers. Bless you.

Awww, I saw her on earlier this month and started a thread in Beauty Banter about her.

I rarely start threads, but was so happy to see her on air.

She is so young, I'm pretty sure she has young children (very young) and that just makes it so much more heart wrenching.

I hope and pray she beats this monster once and for all. The very very best to her and for her. And bless her little ones, too!
