tried listening/watching one of the Walleens with Roberta's flowers todays special--Tues. Jan. 22--but she kep interrupting--I wanted to listen to him and listen to his knowledge--he's been on soo many years and has always presented his flowers with all the info needed--she made it unbareable to listen--I don't understand why she always has to interject her info --it was almost her show and the presentor was just along for the ride--I turn her off whenever I see her--

This is an issue with many hosts, interrupting presentations from vendors. So many times vendors begin to describe their items and give necessary information and are rudely cut off or interrupted by a host. I know the producers are pushing with how many have been sold, colors, easy pay, and the host has to repeat information which has been said too many times.

If the host cannot wait for the vendor to talk about his or her item, than that host should just be alone to do the entire presentation themselves. I'm sure some would like that. This is just another issue with the Q which has been around for years and nothing changes. I shop on line to avoid the rudeness and obnoxious behavior. In all the years I have shopped on the Q I have never let a host influence my decision to buy, that is my job.

I wasn't watching that particular show, but that behavior is nothing new with SB. I can rarely watch anything she hosts and would not make a purchase when she is on air.

I used to really like her, i thought she was beautiful and spoke well. She has really changed, her long hair does not flatter her, and she is becoming more pushy. Well it's good for me, another host i won't watch and buy from...

What show doesnt she ruin She wont shut up I cant stand her anymore Her refusing to give the price bugs the heck out of me I dont want to do math just to get a price Im usually listening not watching If you want to see maybe worse than Sandra tune into Rick The Walleen man just looks at him like hes crazy

Total agreement with the above bolded portion.

Some hosts are better than others at knowing when to interrupt and at keeping their input to a necessary minimum, but I think much of the problem is with the system that has the producer constantly talking in the host's ear.

There are 3 hosts I absolutely won't watch and she is one. She comes across as being rather hostile; not at all friendly or welcoming.

@mollymaggie ..... Yes, I agree about Rick ..... he is absolutely unwatchable... he is so hyper & cuts off all of the callers even those who have just said a few words ... he is loud & rude .... I change the channel when he is on .....he drinks too much caffeine before he comes on air 👎

What is it with her and some of the other ones that are. constantly interrupting or adding in their own irrelevant comments? Just plain rude and/or totally unnecessary.

If I was a vendor I would have to hold myself back for sure and not get into it on air with some of these so called professional hosts. I hate people when they constantly interrupt.

What part exactly do they not understand in “don’t interrupt, it’s rude”?

Me as a vendor, yes I know - I am fired!! 😂 Oh darn!

I don't care for Sandra any more either. I used to really like her, but lately she talks way too much and never shows the colors with the Beauty Shows, which is a big pet peeve with me.....She is so busy talking bargain price that she forgets to mention which color the model has on......I will never order when she is on because she is horrible with the pertinent info.....

I don't watch QVC hardly at all anymore.

I have never cared for her presentations since day one. She and Sharon F always bored me to tears.

However, something changed with Sandra over the last year or so. Her selling style seems more frantic and she's become more pushy. I have to think something is going on at QVC. Either these hosts are being told to act this way or they are under enormous pressure to keep sales up in order to keep their jobs. Hosts who in the past were more laid back and mindful of letting vendors speak are now talking over guests, interrupting them or making comments "in the background" that we all can here and are bothersome.

However, my biggest complaint with Sandra is the fact that she never, ever gives the full price of an item. She always just gives an easypay amount. Often times she doesn't even bother to say that's a payment over the next X amount of months. She just gives the amount as if that's the cost of the item total. It's very misleading.

When Sandra first started she was watchable.....but now she just won't stop talking and rambles on and on about nothing real pertinent about the product. And the poor vendors dont get a chance to provide us with pertinent information....I change the channel when she comes on.....Why dont they move Sandra to be a social media host instead of Katie MCGee who is an excellent host

I don't really understand why everyone is being so critical of this particular host. You have the power to change your channel....it sounds like a bunch of mean girls in middle school to me. We all have our favorite hosts....but I am always more interested in the product to become that distracted. I really miss Sharon F....I thought she was really sweet and perky and darling. I have always enjoyed Leah (and she looks so fantastic now!! I commend her hard work at making herself healthier again with the weight loss, but she just exudes such happiness...I adore her) Amy is sweet as can be, and I really like Carolyn G. She and I can relate on so many levels....and of course I love D&C probably more than anyone!! I have been catching shows with Mary Nelson, what a doll and very thoughtful and just lovely. I love so much about QVC.....the people and the lovely items that I have purchased and will continue to for many years to come. I enjoy this shopping channel.....so please, everyone, try to be more supportive and less critical.

I think it's just hard to watch the host's interrupt and keep saying the same stuff over and over and over. we can see it's on easy pay....we can see the price also....do we really need to hear it 10 times ? We would rather hear more info about the garment or item. We also do not like the fast speed talking, we want to relax and enjoy what's being shown. who can relax when someone is speed talking, interrupting, and talking nonsence ? I enjoy mary beth, caroline, Leah, the new host Courtney, but Amy..... I cannot watch .

I forgot Rachel does a good job, haven't seen her much. Jill, mary, nancy, also do a good job. just a few that i cannot watch.

Sandra is a channel changer for me. Her voice is very annoying. She starts talking fast and the voice gets very high pitched. Too many hosts and guests on there have unpleasant speaking voices.

like others have said, this isn't new. some are worse then others. and some like, leah know what respect is and let the vendor explain or describe the product.

producers should tell whoever, to stop constantly interrupting the vendor. as most of us can see, repeating the colors, size or whatever at least every 90 seconds is overkill and turns many people off. this info is usually on the screen.

as the vendor has more experience and knowledge then the host about the product, they should be doing "most" of the talking, otherwise, why are vendors or representatives for the products there?

i would like the "products" to be the stars of the show, and everything else is just window dressing, so to speak.

it's a shame that this isn't corrected.

hmmm, i don't know, but this is could be one reason why some have a bigger following/more viewers, then others. just thinking out loud.

perhaps if they watched some of their own shows, they may see what we see.

i have noticed that i watch less and less. until i started reading and replying on this forum a few weeks ago, i didn't know exactly why i was watching less, but now i know why. thank you fellow posters. i haven't seen my credit card smile like this in a long time.
