I have been on Amdien for about 6 years. I have never had side effects of it but I do not like how addictive this drug is. My mother has sleep problems but does not take anything for it. I have stopped taking them for two nights now and I know I sleep some but not soundly. Has anyone gone off this sleep med. How long did it take to get a good nights sleep? Thank you for any input.
