HSN Craft Day Shipping Charges

I have a question for anyone who shopped on HSN on their most recent craft day, 1/8/19.

I thought I heard the hosts say, on several shows, that everything bought that day would ship for $5.00 regardless of the number of items or orders or shipping cost of each item. I bought multiple items in one order and the shipping charge was $5.00 for the order. I ordered another item separately that day and was charged another $5.00. Has HSN changed its long-standing policy on this?

I will call customer service tomorrow when it opens, but if anyone can let me know anything before I call, I'd appreciate it.

@the mink: I remember hearing the hosts say you would have to spend $99.00 or more on that day to be eligible for the $5.00 shipping.

I would call customer service. I ordered a few items at various times during the day and the $5.00 shipping was pro-rated among all the orders.

Thank you Diva the Q and Krimpette for replying to my question. I just wanted you to know that I spoke with customer service and the representative was professional and pleasant and she refunded the overages in S&H charges.

I'm not sure if I didn't hear about the $99.00 requirement (although, I exceeded it, unfortunately) or if I had to have purchased everything at the same time, but the problem is resolved. I will listen more carefully the next time I see a shipping/handling promotion.
