Does anyone here have any Charlie Bears? My friend has a couple of them, and I think they're so cute. I've been looking at them on QVC, and there's one I'd like to have. Of course I don't need it at all. Since it's free shipping today and 8% rebate through Ebates I'm considering ordering it.

I just wondered if anyone had one and if you think they're worth the price. The one I'm looking at is $80.

If it’s going to make you happy and the budget is willing, why not? I bought myself a darling stuffed hedgehog. It’s a hit with the family little ones too. Everyone loves Sir Hedgie.

Those animals are undoubtedly very cute but @NickNack, you seem so down to earth and sensible, I'm surprised you's be interested in them. On the other hand, I had a big, burly West Texas co-worker who had a glass-fronted bookcase in his office filled with some of his collection of teddy bears. You never know.....

I've looked at them more than once too.

@NickNack I have several Charlie Bears and adore them...my favorite is Licky Tissue (H215652). I would ensure that when the bears arrive they are in the original packaging with all of the papers.

@Kachina624 I think that's one reason I'm hesitating. It's not like me at all to have a stuffed animal. I thought my friend's were so cute though. It made me think I might be able to find a place for it. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do.

Yes she is @NickNack That was my first purchase...and the current price is $20 less than what I paid.

@GAQShopr53 What original packaging and papers should I look for? I just ordered it. The reviews all say that they come in a plain brown box with brown paper--not nice packaging. Is that how yours came? What papers come with it? I'm looking forward to getting it now that I've ordered it. EDD is 1/17/19.

I have Bumble Bee #H215638 he's adorable! I purchased Mattie #H215654 for my Granddaughter for Christmas. Very nice quality and workmanship.

@NickNack the bear should come in a brown box with a pretty burgundy insert cutout on top and you should see the face when you open it...there should be tags on the doll and a card. Once QVC tried to send me a customer return and it was just in a box and no cutout insert. This is Eliza (H215646)

Thank you @GAQShopr53. I love Eliza! It looks like a nice presentation. It sounds like a lot of the complaints about the brown box packaging didn't receive the correct box.

@GAQShopr53 I just watched the video of Annabelle, the bunny I bought. The host asked if she came with a tag and card, and the Charlie Bears owner said that she came with a tag but no card. I wonder if she comes with the nice box. I hope so. So many of the reviews said it was a plain box. I also wonder which ones come with cards and which ones don't. What do the cards say?

@NickNack The card will tell you the name of the collection! All of the bears I have ordered except the one I returned had the cards attached. I would not worry...most of the bears shipped are in the proper packaging except those that are customer returns that QVC warehouse attempts to send out!

@GAQShopr53 My Charlie Bear arrived today and is adorable. It was just in plain brown paper wrapping in a brown box. That is how the reviews say that it arrived. The 11" bears must not ship in the special box. I think that's kind of awful. To pay this much for a bear it should come in a special box.

Agreed @NickNack...I wonder if the height of the bear has anything to do with how it is shipped? I am happy you like the bear...they are adorable

@NickNack, mr henny is a bear collector.

Unless you are buying for resale don't worry about the stupid box. She arrived safely and that's what matters.

Some of mr henny's most precious bears have no box and he wouldn't part with them for the world.
