Former QVC Host Alex Butler is now...

a news commentator on News 12 NJ news. She had a live segment on the show about boating/boat show. She looked so much more natural on this news segment. Hope she's found her perfect job.

She does the entertainment news in my area of New Jersey. It was nice to see her, she looks very happy working for News 12.

That’s what Alex was doing before she came to QVC. She did feature news spots in Florida, Texas, and North Carolina. Nice that she can go back to that career.

JEFF Anyone remember remember that adorable male host named Jeff, can't remember last name. He always had the cutest smile. Rumor has it that he married Judy Crowell. This was a good 20 or 25 years ago. Felinemom

It wasn't a rumor. They were married and divorced.

From what I’ve read on this forum about him, he was anything but adorable.

According to Kathy’s book he was adorable on air, anightmare to married to. Her has really bad health now. Thanks for the Jeffrey....Nothing like the first years at QVC.

The last we heard of him, he'd had a debilitating stroke and was living in a nursing home.

I found this on the internet...sad.

Jeffrey Hewson from QVC's Fame experienced a fairly major bleeding stroke and has been in physical rehab and assisted living since then. He is being well taken care of and has friends in the stroke community. He resides in Mesa, Arizona.

i also liked her, I was surprised she did not stay. You never know, it might have been her decision also, the schedule is hard with all the night shift work.

I remember being shocked when Jeffrey and Judy announced their engagement. I could see him with one of the beautiful models used in monthly gold shows.

I also remember Kathy saying Jeffrey wanted to make sure he was prettier than the bride. (IMO he was) He made a fuss about the material (only the best) used in his "groom" attire.

I have no idea who Alex Butler is but we do get NJ 12 news. I'll have to tune in more often.
