I really like Jane's hair cut

Jane was made for this little, elfin look. It's not too long and not too short. Keep it that exact, same style, Jane.

The color...not so much. At least in that lighting, it's not flattering; the color looks dark and lifeless. I think a medium, warm brown would suit her to a "t".

I respect everyone's personal sense of style. Personally, I rarely care for short hair on woman. It can look great on models with beautiful facial features or those who are athletic and dedicated gym members. I know my opinion will be in the minority. Mine has never been short (but I live in a pony when I work out). I think a person's beauty shines through no matter what their hair length, so if this pleases Jane or anyone else, that is most important!

Jane is petite and looks good with short hair. I could not see her in longer hair as it would overwhelm her. She always has a cute, short style and changes it up often. I have liked them all.

@Katcat1 I agree. I have a small face and my dad used to always tell me my long hair (worn parted in the middle and loose, the way girls wore it in the 70's) was too much for my face and that I'd look better in short hair but I didn't want to be different and stand out because that wasn't the "style" back in the day. Now that I'm older, I wear my silver hair in a spiky pixie cut and I'm complimented on it almost weekly by strangers. I guess Dad was right! 😊

I think short hair looks cute on some people. Jane has the right face shape and diminutive features that for this and still look very feminine.

Hair length, style, cut, and color are very personal. I have tried the long hair thing several times. Because of the texture of my hair, the shape of my face, and my sort neck, I wear my hair short. Long hair just doesn't work for me. I don't feel any less feminine because of the length of my hair.

Jane looks fabulous tonight! Love the dress and her short hair style.

I'd like an opinion from a person who prefers longer hair on women. It's an preference I see expressed pretty often on these boards, and I've always wondered about it. I have baby fine, thin, straight hair - always have, my whole life. The ONLY way it looks well groomed and fuller is when it's cut in a short pixie so I can fluff it up. With hair like mine, would you still think it looked better longer? Keep in mind, it's so thin that my ears literally poke out if it hangs down! Had a pony once or twice as a child and as a teenager, and it was so thin it was pitiful. With hair like mine, don't you think that really short is better?

ETA Luckily for me, I guess, I'm petite with small features.

Janes hair always look nice, IMO. Her hair is very curly and difficult to manage when it is longer.

She looks great in short hair. She gets poofy hair when it grows out. She did wear. Longer hair at one time.

@shoesnbags I have thin straight hair also. I put it in rollers when it is almost dry and hit it with a blow dryer (very minimally). When I take it down the rollers have smoothed out my hair as well as added volume. Very minimal upkeep. It you are happy with your hair that is all that matters. Someone is always going to have an opinion.

I'll join the poster who said she's in the minority. I do not care for that short hair look on this host. It looks harsh to me. I know short hair must be easier to style but I prefer a longer look.

That style would look great on her, but her hair would not do that without a whole lot of styling and fighting. Her hair is VERY curly.

jane's hair is perfect as far as i am concerned. suits her to a t. wish i had that kind of body and curl.

i LOVE long hair on a woman, especially long silver hair. i have always worn my hair either long (shoulder length) or short (pixie). my hair is silver now and i just came out of a long hair phase. it looked good, really. just not particularly good on me. plus, it was SO HARD to take care of. although i didn't have to wash it every day, i did choose to spend gobs of time making it look just right every morning.

i went from the long, shoulder length back to my pixie a few months ago. i get compliments every single day. i know it looks better on me. i just wish like the dickens that long hair looked as good on me. oh well. this is a lot easier.

I agree that Jane's choice of hair color could be a softer brown; I think it would be more flattering. I ALWAYS think her eyebrows are penciled/filled-in too far apart, on the inside/nose starting point. It appears as too much of a blank space. JMHO.
