President Bush acquired Sully after Mrs. Bush passed away. I like to think about how much this dog contributed to President Bush's life, but it also pleases me to think that this dog met some consequential people over the past six months. That job had great perks.

ETA:

The President and his family have just left the funeral home in Houston and Sully's right there.

I think everything having to do with the Bush family this week ...

Remembrances ....the coming together of different people ..

even the comedy with Dana Carvie ..is showing us what we

can and should be ....

What a beautiful tribute to a true MAN. He was a officer,gentleman, hero, statesman, president, father and an amazing husband. Truely someone that our youth could admire and look up to.

when I saw this earlier it was heartbreaking, soooo sad as I knew Sully is probably so confused and wonders where his master is . I know he will grieve and that makes me just tear up 😓. Dogs are so loyal and wonderful . I realize he is a service dog and had a duty , but boy I kind of hoped the family would keep him .

Right now Sully is on Special Air Mission 41 with the family and the President. As @nomless pointed out, he will head to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and will likely be introduced to someone who needs him very much.
