A friend sent me this as a joke. It struck me as very funny. I accused her of receiving it from her dh, who is an engineer and math wizard. She said "no way!" as she's very independent.

This has been floating around Twitter since the summer...

but no one has said what the code is! Ha

Some were over-anaylizing it saying....

the word ‘Code’ is a tip off...it might originate overseas.

Here in the States we would say PIN Number, not PIN Code.

Either way...sounds like a smart idea to get your kid to do

their homework, yes??!

I have discalculia, a learning disability. That note looked like a foreign language for me.

Have not dusted off my calculus since I got my MBA, but I think if they are doing a first derivative with x=0 for a test of slope, then dx can never be a part of the numerator. The whole formula is peculiar. If it is read as it stands the answer is 0 since 0/sqrt2 is 0.

I threw my book out with glee as soon as I graduated so I am not a source.

I actually said that about checks and $ when I first opened a checking account decades ago. My family were incredulous, but understood about my LD.
