I vote for putting your garbage into Amazon boxes, LOL! Better yet, after pooper scoopering your yard (if you have a dog or dogs) put the poop in a plastic bag (clear plastic, not tinted, you know, to give those pirates the full effect!) tie it shut so it won't smell immediately, and put THAT in a shipping box from anywhere. Just make sure your address isn't actually on the box, so they can't bring it back.

Visiting grandson just suggested that if you have any fish in the freezer that you don't plan to use, put the bags in a box. By the time they thaw out, they should be pretty ripe.

Back in December 1968 there was a garbage strike in NYC. People wrapped their trash in xmas paper, left it in their unlocked cars parked on the streets of NYC and thieves stole it like crazy.

OK, this isn't directly related, but reminds me of a "what if?" instance.

Many years ago (1994) my father passed away. My mother and I went to the funeral home later to pick up his cremains in a box placed into a standard silver gift bag. Put it in the back seat and for whatever reason. mom and I stopped at the mall.

Came out to find the bag intact, but later thought "what IF someone had broken in to get the pretty gift bag?

That would have been a surprise for them!
