Be careful what you tell people.

A friend today could be an

enemy tomorrow.

Once I lose respect for you,

it's gone...I've never

re-spected anyone...

A true friend doesn't care

when you're broke, what

you weigh, if your house

is a mess, what you drive,

about your past, or if your

family is filled with crazy

people. They love you for

who you are.

----

Getting married young is okay.

Getting pregnant young is okay.

Not going to college right after

high school is okay. Not going to

college at all is okay. Being a single

parent is okay.

What isn't okay is people judging

others because their life isn't the

way you chose to live yours.

----

I don't care if I'm selfish.

After putting people first

for the longest time and

being disappointed I deserve

to do whatever makes me happy.

----

Don't worry about hurting my feelings

because I guarantee you not one bit

of my self-esteem is tied up in your

acceptance.

----

I don't believe in holding grudges.

I do, however, remember facts

forever.

----

Sometimes you have to play the

role of a fool to fool the fool

who thinks they are fooling you.

----

Here's the thing about people

with good hearts...

They give you excuses when you

don't explain yourself. They

accept your worst, they lift

you up, even if it means putting

their priorities aside.

It's because they don't make you

work hard for the attention

they give you.

They accept the love they think

they've earned and you

accepted the love you think

you're entitled to.

Let Me Tell You Something...

Fear the day when a good heart

gives up on you. Our skies don't

become angry out of no where.

Our sunshine does not allow

the darkness to take over for

no reason.

A heart does not turn cold unless

it's been treated with coldness

for a while.

I hate when people say,

"They're still your family."

Just because someone is

your family doesn't mean

you have to keep them in

your life if they are toxic.

Blood means nothing sometimes.

Don't let people guilt you into

being in contact with someone

who isn't good for your mental

health.

----

Maturity is the power you have

to destroy someone who did

you wrong but you just breathe,

walk away and let life take care

of them.

----

Self love is very important.

You can be the person that

makes you happy. You can

be your own best friend.

You can comfort yourself and

be enough when no one else

is there. The right person

will come into your life when

the time is right, until then,

love yourself.

----

Don't let anyone minimize how

you feel. If you feel something,

you feel it and it's real to you.

Nothing anyone says has the power

to invalidate that, ever. No one

else sees life through you.

No one else has lived through

your experiences. And so, no

one else has the right to dictate

or judge how you feel. Your

feelings are important and you

deserve to be heard. They are

inherently valid and they matter.

Don't let anyone ever make you

believe otherwise.

Everyone you meet always asks

if you have a career, are married

or own a house as if life is some

kind of grocery list. But no one

ever asks you if you are happy.

LUVNLIFE, You are very welcome. This is just one of a few I have posted and if you know how to search you can bring some of them up. Most are called Words of Wisdom or More Words of Wisdom. I honestly believe there are one or two sayings that everyone can relate to. Glad you enjoyed it.

It's all common sense words of wisdom that we all should be taught by somebody growing up.
