Website Format Change Again

Well, what a surprise. A couple hours ago, I checked Trending (what used to be Hot Picks). Just went to check it for today's hot picks before going to bed and sure enough the format has changed again sometime within that couple hours.

I don't get irked by much that QVC does or doesn't do, but trying to keep up with all the web changes does irritate me. For goodness sakes, get it back to its original, familiar format and quit changing it all the time. The constant changing has not made it better, just harder to navigate.

IT Department - do something constructive for change and fix the issues that need fixing and quit with all the format changing.

One of the basics of web design is keeping pages fresh and keeping up with trends. It is what it is and that's what the web is all about: change, holding interest, trying to make it better and newer.

It is frustrating when you are the viewer sometimes, but usually a few things are really better when you get used to it. Anyway take comfort, it won't be that way too long!

yes but that's not case ever on this site,

just now to respond to you, it took me another page, had to refresh

the home page is increasingly cluttered , with pictures and info too many clicks to find what you want, and could be improved, IMO

I would like to see 'top finds' category come back. I don't look through what's trending because I really don't care. I know what trends for me.

LOL!!!! Being one of the first webmasters in the country, I've seen and heard it all. NOBODY likes the new webpage. But suddenly they love it when you put up another version down the road.

Most websites make changes. I don’t think they do it with the frequency that QVC does it.

Change is good so they say but every time Q makes web changes they never seem to work - something always goes missing or wrong or does not function. Changes are o.k. But only if done correctly which, unfortunately, does not happen often with Q's website.

it's not that i don't expect changes - it's just that i don't like things to disappear or be located elsewhere without explanation. then i have to spend my time digging around. that irritates.

also too often i have to do more "clicks" - not fewer. that's not the name of the game for me.

as to what we are looking at now in terms of Q merchandising, everything, just everything, is now a "deal." and when everything's a deal, i tend to think nothing is.
