Weather - Snow's Coming!

Would you believe that we here in the Albuquerque area have a chance of snow Monday? I just turned my AC off a week ago! We skipped autumn and went right to winter. It has been very chilly the past 4-5 days. Santa Fe, at a higher elevation, will get it for sure.

Anybody else have predicted snow on the way?

We may get snow Monday(Show Low AZ) but we already got enough to cover the roads; at least a month early!!!

I think so too @Goldengate8361 , because we didn't get a single flake last winter, and I love it. This is high desert so we don't get a lot of snow except in the mountains.

@Kachina624 you live in such a neat place! I’ve only briefly visited once a long time ago. Seems like a great city, especially with cooler weather coming.

Snow!!! Heck no. That's funny it got really chilly today here in NYC we just turned our a/c off early this morning because it has been so humid and I was telling my husband that we don't even get the four seasons anymore.

@Kachina624 Lucky you. I love snow especially when it is falling steady and covers the grass, bushes and trees. You can stay inside with a good book.

@patbz. What's your altitude in Show Low? People don't realize Albuquerque's is the same as Denver (5,270 ft) and our climate is nothing like Phoenix's.

Say it isn't so! I'm in the St. Louis (Missouri) area and it was in the high 80s and humid on Wednesday - today it's in the low 40s with a cold rain, but not cold enough to snow, thank goodness. We've had no fall weather so far, but I'm hoping we might get back to our normal 60s and 70s for this time of the year. There's still hope!

A few flurries forecast up here tonite. No accumulation but hard freeze warning in effect with a low of 27 degrees.

No snow yet here in southwestern Michigan, but one of the local weather guys says the "skeeters are going to meet their maker" tonight. I guess that means we're going to get a hard freeze. A few days ago it was in the upper 80's and I had my A/C on.

Its been in the mid 60s and rainy this week and mid 40s predicted for next week. A few days ago 13 inches of snow fell in the ski resort about 30 min from my house. We went straight to winter this year without much fall weather.

We didn't get a lot of snow when we lived in Albuquerque..but it was no nice to see snow all over the Sandias when it was just cool where we were. We lived right off Louisiana Blvd.so we were sort of halfway between the mts and the valley.I taught in the valley which was usually very hot...but when I had to go to area mtgs after school, I would have to take a coat because it would be snowing there....enjoy your snow!

When we went to visit Yellowstone last month it starting snowing one morning. It didn’t stick around long but I was surprised to see snow so early in the year.

Biggest whiteout blizzard I have ever been in was outside of Flagstaff on the interstate.....terrifying!
