I think Shawn’s styling choices give me some ideas about how to style thing I have that I might not have thought about. I have a couple pair of the boho earrings from HauteLook and seeing some of her outfits have given me ideas about how to use them, though I don’t do so often. She seems to have fun with fashion and I think that is what I like. I’m at that age where I want to enjoy the items I have, not necessarily wanting to buy anything.

Thanks for your post. I hope it doesn’t get hijacked to the dark side.

I hate those big junky earrings on everyone. They are laughable if nothing else. How bigger are those things going to get....lol But I loved her glasses. Although glasses today are having a moment. Even people who don't need eye glasses are wearing signature eye wear. She seems to have tamed down her look, at one time it was too "out there" too "inside fashionista" But now she has a look that is her signature look, that let's her stand out be noticed but looks real.

@catlover Shawn looks cute in the glasses; however, I dislike shoulder duster earrings on everyone. Not attractive, IMO.

I would be surprised if Shawn even needs those glasses, I think she has great hair, but the earrings are a no go for me. Did they ever even bring out that line of gigantic earrings she and AS designed?

I was watching one of Shawn's presentations she put her glasses on and stated sorry but I need these to see.

Regarding her hair, I think it looks beautiful these days....shiny, thick and I like the current color which seems more natural looking. She started out on qvc quirky and the polar opposite of a glamorous woman but she sure has shifted to one now, imo.

You said the truth! I resent when she makes the comment ”I am so OCD”. As a sufferer of this disease, it isn’t something to be taken lightly with a flip comment. It is horrible, takes over your life and with a lot of cognitive behavior therapy I can manage to live an almost normal life. She doesn’t even understand how it tears your life apart.

As a mother of three, I think I can add a bit of advice to Shawn and anyone else who wears those drapery tie-back earrings. Do not wear them when you are taking care of a child. Little children love to pull things like hair, necklaces and long dangling earrings. Getting those yanked could take half an ear with them. This style was popular in the 1980's; I didn't like them then and don't care for them now.

Regarding the glasses, I understand needing readers. However, putting them on and taking them off doesn't have to be a major production. Since she evidently "designs" them, she is obviously calling attention to them so people will make a purchase. It gets distracting, IMO.

@I agree. Shawn’s style has grown and she looks lovely. She has an amazing figure and is prettier than ever. She did a spot backstage last night with Brooke Shields. Shawn was wearing no makeup and was just as lovely without makeup as with it. She can get a little crazy with her word salad, but she is adorable

I do love her glasses also, but wonder if they are readers. They seem too big for readers and she is getting into the habit of bending her head to see over them.

But they are fashionable and happy colors.
