Taking a Break From Here!

I'm taking a break from here. I'm tired of getting zapped.

I was answering some of the 27 responses I'd received.

I always tried to answer the posts where people addressed me, agreeing or disagreeing.

I am tired of trying to figure out what I'm 'supposed' to say.

Anyway, I've always enjoyed everyone's posts and have learned so much from all of you. I am good friends with @ECBG. She can tell you I'm a no-nonsense kind of person. Things are a bit too Mickey Mouse....or better to say...too subjective.

@Annabellethecat66 I sincerely hope you reconsider. Although I don’t post often, I do enjoy your posts and point of view. Speaking your mind in a no nonsense, but respectful way is one of your positive traits in my view.

Sorry to hear that too. I hardly post anything and when I did a couple of weeks ago, boy did I get jumped - just for asking a question..... a couple of people came to my defence, still didn't matter. I have renjoyed your posts too... but totally understand... take good care!

@Annabellethecat66 ... there is no answer to what you are feeling right now. I wish you well and enjoy your break. Sometimes we just have to step away for a while. I think a lot of us have been there for one reason or another.

We'll be here when you come back, but so will the problems you must be having. Just remember that, but also remember that there are great people here, too. We all just need to get thru the hard stuff. I wish you well.

Exactly. I took a 1-month break a few years ago and found the absence to be productive. I bet some posters were glad for the respite from my opinions.

@Annabellethecat66........there is nothing wrong with feeling you need to take a break from here. Many of us have done that, and returned, then took another break, then returned. That is the nature of these boards. But, one thing I've learned on here is that I am as good as anyone on here. There have been some pretty nasty things said to me, but that only makes those kinds of posters look mean and don't care what they say.

Take what ever amount of time you need, and we do look forward to you returning when you are ready.

Sorry for the frustrations, @Annabellethecat66! You might find some other forums less restrictive, so do what you think best. Whatever works for you, with the least aggravation. I vary my minimal social media time between different venues, so don't find I need to take many breaks from any of them.

Deep, I for one have always valued your opinions and thoughts.

I get busy at times with life and don't make it here for long stretches. I broke my foot last week and have been homebound so have really enjoyed posting again.

If you feel like you need a break, you most likely do.

Wow. This is really something. Usually there are a lot of posters saying, please dont go. That has certainly changed from years ago.

Everyone needs a break. Annabelle will have a lot to say when she gets back. I enjoy reading your posts and look forward to doing so again. Enjoy your break

@Mersha Thanks for the kind words. Too bad there won't be any grand slam tournaments until the Australian Open in January. Maybe ESPN will air some of the Masters events. Hope your foot heals as quickly as possible.

I'm sorry to hear this as well. I took a break for a couple of years. I noticed things really aren't any better. So many posts are being removed. A person can ask a question and somebody will come back with a snarky answer. And it's ususally the same few people that does this. I to wish they could put the ignore button back on here.
