I remember watching the Reality show and enjoying it. Really shocking that the father is in prison for 40 years now for sexual abuse. Just WOW!.. I do think that they were very talented... and watching the show and the Father and the Mother on the show, I never would have thought!

Yeah, that is one messed up family. Very talented, but so much ugliness behind the scenes.

Just google "Willis family" to learn more. Plus on youtube there are some videos of performances.

The dad seemed very controlling in the show. Fundie families are breeding grounds for secrets.

This sort of thing can happen in small to large families in any walks of life, people are people. So very sad for this family I enjoyed watching the few episodes I saw before it all fell apart. So very talented.

I read awhile back the oldest daughter I believe got married and was trying to distance herself from the family and had started a jewelry line with her husband. I hope the family finds peace and their Mother can keep them as strong as possible.

That father disgusted me by his abuse actions then his running away from the authorities.

I just saw the Megan Kelly Show and hope for the best for these young people. I think they most likely will need life long therapy especially the boys if they don't want to follow in their father's footsteps. Weird how that happens. Children becoming their abusive parent or parents later in life. Hope that is not their fate.

Many times the Mothers/ wives are also controlled by the person doing the dirty deeds.... that is why they get away with it for so long.

They were scheduled to perform in our hometown last year and we wanted to go see them. Next thing we knew, they were replaced by another family group.

Sounds like every show on TLC has almost always featured some sort of dysfunction or other issues....I never even turn on that channel. Inbreeding, bigamy, and child abuse are not entertainment to me.

I was fortunate to see them perform in 2015. The poise and talent that these kids have is unbelievable. They stayed after a grueling 3 hour show in the July heat to take photos and chat with anyone who waited for over 2 hours. Thankfully, the father was busy with the equipment, but I chatted with Brenda and several of the kids. They were so gracious and engaging. I was heartbroken when the news broke the next year. They are truly remarkable young adults and I pray for their continued healing.

The Little Couple is a wonderful show....they are so fun to watch! I never heard of this Willis family....but it is true there are some really bad shows on that channel! What about that show Unexpected! Good grief...can't watch that stuff at all.

The Willis Clan show was still on when he ran off and was arrested for sexual abuse/rape..and one of the daughters had left the show just prior to this and she was one he abused..it's been such a sad story but I am so glad they are finally back singing and using their talents and doing what they love.. They are very talented and I love their shows
