Seattle crazy Summer Weather

So last week at this time it was in the 90's and I was sweltering in the the heat.....today a week later here cloudy, misty....it is in the 60's and I am wearing a sweater🙂.

SO.....HOW IS THE WEATHER IN YOUR NECK OF THE WOODS?

NYC is swampy, steamy mid 80’s, and very high humidity.

Central FL is in the low 90's, humid, but not too humid. We have had a lot of rain this summer, more than ususal.

I am in the Seattle area also and just had to use an umbrella to go for a morning walk in the park. Sure a difference from sweltering in front of a fan a couple of days ago trying to stay cool!

I just got back from two weeks in Colorado. It was beautiful and hot! But low humidity, so good hair days. LOL Now back home its hot, steamy and high humidity. So much for good hair days! But I love summer, and would rather be hot than cold. Just lower humidity. Oh well.

It's around 1:40PM and the sky is so dark it looks like it's 9:00PM!

It just started to pour down raining yet again! I am all dressed (jewelry, wig...the whole thing) and decided to check the weather as the TV said storms coming.

Within maybe 1 hour or less all heck has broken loose! My girl cat (Katie) is petrified (I mean she goes crazy) when it storms. Since I know it's almost here I don't have the heart to leave her! She's sleeping in a chair and any minute it will be thundering. As for Bill the cat...well...just feed him and he's good to go! Ha!

Anyway, I'm off topic once again. It is pouring. A huge tree went down weekend before last. It was beautiful, huge with beautiful leaves. Just came right out of the ground, roots and all! That's been happening a lot around here lately because the ground is so freaking wet!

So, the kid next door came to take out my trash last night and said his Dad was sitting in their car in their driveway waiting for his mom to come out. They were on their way to a funeral!

He said his Dad suddenly saw something dark brown come in front of him as he sat in the car! It was the tree trunk. It had just missed the car! But it didn't block the driveway! His mom is petrified about falling trees anyway. I'm afriaid now she'll have them cutting down every tree around them. I hope not, it makes me so sad to see beautiful trees cut down.

I have trees all around my house. I mean some are a few feet from my house! It makes me nervous and I'm going to have to go ahead and have at least one taken down! It provides amazing shade for my house.

Anyway, it's going to rain for several more days. I'm so sick of rain....so sick of it! I've always hated it when it rains much less on and on and ........

That's it! Katie the cat is about to go hide. When she does it's for hours sometimes even a day.

Just saw on TV possible tornados right new by. Stay stuned! Ugh!

I am on the ST. Lawrence River in Upstate New York on the Canadian

Border .....it has been very hot and humid ... last week the next big

town .. and there isn't many ...hit a record at 94 .... I would love a 60

degree day ......

It's pretty usual summer weather for the gulf south- hot and humid, hot and humid, and then sometimes it's hot and humid. 😉 Thank goodness for air conditioning!

Pittsburgh area, rainy, humid, dreary. Highs in the high 70's, low 80's. Haven't been in our pool all week, but still have to maintain and run the filter. Just watching the electric meter spin. LOL

I'm at NJ and we have had hot and humid weather and lots of rain. I yearn for the cool crisp Autumn air, leaves blowing around and the feeling in the air which motivates me to go and do!!!!! That probably won't arrive until October but at least it is ahead and this weather will be behind me.

NC having severe thunderstorms, high winds 50mph and flood warnings. It’s dark here, too @Annabellethecat66. I crated the dogs and have flashlights handy, also charging phone & IPad in case lose power. Pretty scary looking out there. TV warned of roof & siding damage. 🤭

Anchorage, AK ~~ It's 12:24p, showers and 57 degrees. Monday and Tuesday was warm (75*) and sunny, heatwave for AK! The weekend looks promising, partly sunny and 72! Woohoo, summers back😅
