I have seen on a few different websites that Chick-Fil-A is launching their own version of meal kits using their famous and delicious chicken. The launch is starting in their Atlanta locations but they will expand if they are successful:

Love Chick-Fil-A! Their food is top notch, especially the grilled chicken. Ours has a line around the building all day long. It is clean and well kept too, and they have people outside to get the line moving along and get your food without big delays.

Oh I wish you did too @goldensrbest. We have three in my town plus one additional on one of our college campuses and 4 is not enough locations as far as I am concerned. Got an extra grilled chicken piece in my 8 count a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was Christmas morning.

I thought the premise of meal kits is for the convenience of home delivery. No way would I go to a Chik Fil A to pick up a kit that I then have to cook at home. I predict this will fail.

I am not a big chicken eater, but Happy loves their nuggets. Our local one has some type of event at least every week. Senior citizens get a free entree one day a month and all dogs get a free doggie box of 2 nuggets whenever they go through the drive-thru. Additionally, our police, fire fighters, and teachers also get their own day, and our active senior luncheon at the Y is catered by them with lots of free things included such as free gift cards, salad, and desserts.

They are a wonderful addition to our community even though there are always those who have negative things to say about them.

Interesting concept.

But how is their chicken any different than grocery store chicken?

It’s not organic, free-range, wild unicorn chicken everyone seems

to qualify their meat....it’s just icky factory chicken.

The method they cook it is different. From the pictures,

it’s not pre-cooked with their special pressured method.

My guess....everyone will sign up for a meal which costs extra,

and while they pick it up, they’ll order a couple orders

of waffle fries...cuz we all know that’s why people go to CFA.

I’m sure everyone will buy in to this for awhile..then realize why?

The idea of fast food is just that...fast. Humm.

What? Who wants to go to a fast food place only to walk out with a bunch of ingredients that you have to cook yourself?

Chik-Fil-A is highly overrated IMO. It's way too salty. I think it's a reflection on how poor the typical American diet is that places like this are so popular.

Thanks for the info! I have only eaten there once at the Orlando airport. There is one in my area & I just signed up for my location. I like the idea of a kit...I'm really lazy about cooking these days so any help I can get is welcome!

Odd thing for Chick-fil-A. I could see if it was some type of home delivery program but to have to go there to pick up the kit??

I would think if one is into cooking their own meals from scratch Chick-fil-A wouldn't be on their radar-either to eat there or buy these kits.

I wonder what the PTB were thinking. Surely Chick-fil-A doesn't need a boost.

Love Chick-Fil-A, was there for breakfast, but I'm not a fan of meal kits. I cook most nights for dinner, I go to the grocery store, love looking for recipes that sound good and make what I want, and probably cheaper than a meal kit. I'd rather drive to CFA to pick up a to go order for dinner than a meal kit.

I have only been there once and I probably ordered the wrong item because it was not very good. The one by me always has huge lines.

Chick-Fil-A obviously knows how to do food! I've ordered everything from chicken to salad, and they just know how to make it delicious. I've never been to one that wasn't crowded, so I guess I'm not alone in my opinion, and this is coming from someone who isn't a fan of fast food joints. They evidently have tapped into the younger set who is into the meal kits. Not my thing, but good for them!

I will sign up also. This is the only fast food restaurant we eat at also! The quality of the food is excellent and the meal choices are healthy and there is lots to choose from! No wonder they were rated the #1 Fast food restaurant!

It would be easier than going to the grocery store and hunting all the stuff down and standing in line. I'd guess these kits people may pick up along with their lunch or maybe for the next day to cook at night.
