      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Today I bought my first Northwest cherries of the season (they made their way to the East coast) and they're wonderful.&amp;nbsp; All of the fruit I've bought this spring/summer has been exceptional.&amp;nbsp; The only thing that's been lacking (big time) has been tomatoes, but my garden is lookin' good and I'll have those tomato sandwiches that I so love in another month - can't wait!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Even here in Wa state they are expensive, about 4.99 a lb.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't know what they're called, but my neighbor has a huge cherry tree that makes the best cherries ever.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; They are the deep red ones.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I never got into the Rainiers, but I know they're popular.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My husband got out one of his ladders and picked me a couple bags Neighbor has always said take as much as we want because he doesn't pick them at all.&amp;nbsp; Between us and the birds, there are plenty.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;His tree doesn't have cherries every year, though.&amp;nbsp; i don't know if that is normal or what, however, as I know zip about gardening type stuff.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
